Big boob....little boob!

My right boob is huge! My surgeon knows about the swelling, it was the same as when I left the hospital and he said it was fine and not to worry. Because the scar was so deep on that side there was a lot of skin that needed to be removed, more than he thought and was a lot more invasive than the left which feels pretty good. But righty is bl@@dy sore!

Can't wait for Monday when the nurse can take a look and I can get some reassurance. I know my surgeon said its OK and I know it's going to take time to settle again, but damn is it huge! Got the post-op blues today I think. My brain knows its going to take time to go back to normal but post-op blues have brain washed me today as much as I tell myself it'll be ok, it's hard to see how how it will be right now. Xx

Aw hun, even when you know boobie blues are the reason, it doesn't make you feel any better does it. It's not too long until Monday and hopefully you'll have your mind put at rest. Does look more swollen in your pic hun. But it's not too bad I was expecting beach ball and golf ball reading the title

It is a beach ball compared to the other lol! I cut half of big boob off to get the tiddly left in to show comparison lol.

I'm using my sisters bras, she's a 36G! But its the only size that fits right now.I'm only a 32F. So righty is a good 3 cup sizes bigger than the left. My poor small boob isn't getting any support at all, it's just flopping around in the cup.

It really is considerably bigger. I was laying down taking that pic. Nipple is much higher than the left also but I've been advised that that too will drop when the swelling has settled and the breast has dropped again. He said it could take months though.

the swelling will go down. You just have to make sure to have lots or rest and tlc

I get days like that anyway and I don't need an op to be like it. Allow yourself a good cry and then tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully you'll feel better. You were put under twice so you have double the amount of GA in your system. No wonder you feel weepy.

Aww sorry to hear your having a bad day hunny, it's horrible but you know it will pass but it's just part of the healing process.

Hopefully Monday will put your mind at rest, it's obviously suffered a lot of trauma and is now showing and is a result of that. Our bodies our very clever though and will be repairing and healing itself as quickly as possible!

Oh no, hopefully you will feel a bit brighter tomorrow! 1 day closer to seeing tje nurse and getting that reassurance that you need.
Knowing it will take time and actually going through it are totally different things, hopefully you will soon be at the other end of your recovery xx

I'm sure time will heal you well hun as you have told me many times on here. I know you know all of this as you are always giving us lot this advice but when its yourself you want it to be perfect right away dont you! Hope you get over those pesky post op blues. Big boob....little boob! 571992

It's all such a patient waiting game isn't it but just try and envisage the lovely light at the end of the tunnel. You know where we are when you need a whinge and you can whinge all you like to us, we dont mind. Isn't there any way you could pad the other side of your bra so lefty gets some support?? xx

Looking at your avatar and seeing how big your boobs are already the big one must be massive Shocked

you poor thing it must really hurt. It does look a lot bigger than the other one hope everything goes ok on Monday cookie

Just bumping this thread because finally my boobs are the same size. It did take about 5 months though for them to even up but I just hope this may offer those with differing size concerns hope that they CAN eventually even out. Even with such a huge size difference. Xx
