Hi ladies,

I havnt been here in a while but with my op getting closer and my consultation in 2 weeks I need some advice.....

I know what result I'm hoping for and one of the things I want to mention is that I would quite like to maintain a defined upper pole even after my implants have dropped. Do you know if this is possible?

Hope you girlies are all ok?

I think this is possible, depending how much breast tissue you have now then overs may give you the look you want rather than having the implant under the muscle. Xx

The plan is overs but I have read about a lot of girls loosing the upper pole definition when implants drop.... Should I be going for biggers implants so I don't loose it.... It's all so confusing :(

Thanks

Only a surgeon can advise you on size hun. Maybe a lower profile, so wider would be better. But if you discuss these things at your consultation and make ît clear what look you are going for then they can say what size, placement etc is best for you xx

Haha I know that feeling. I'm sure 2 weeks will fly by and you can get it all sorted out with your surgeon and hopefully he can reassure you about any worries you have! That is what they are there for xx

Hi hunny a round implant will always give you a roundness but all implants drop they only way to achieve that just augmented look is with a balconette bra, which pushes and gives back the upper pole roundness. Xx

Hi Chick, i have fury brazilian implants that are supposed to keep their upper pole. The fury texture fixs itself to your skin like velcro and therefore hardly drops. Not many surgeons use them though as they need to be specially trained to use them. Do some research on the implant and enquire with your surgeon, it could be an option?

Best of luck :) x

Going for a higher profile might help to give a fuller upper pole or maybe a larger implant? but this has to be discussed with your surgeon. It's not as simple as just making the decision when the risk of complication might be raised by choosing the options if they're not right for you. Xx

I would think a surgeon will have all the answers but I'll suggest a form stable implant such as the naturelle soft touch range. Although this does drop also. I know James did answer a question of mine a while back on this in the ask the surgeon section but I'm on my phone at the moment so can't post a link. If I remember correctly he did say large over the muscle implants can achieve the look you want. You will have to be very clear with your surgeon on the look that you want. He may suggest unders as the muscle can hold the implant up, it just may be they create the pocket higher up. I'm no surgeon and I have no experience of this other than having a ba myself. Take pictures with you and show the surgeon exactly what you want to achieve.

I have the furry brazillians too as I had the same surgeon as Tinyscarecrow and at 6 weeks I still have a good full upper pole. As the skin has relaxed over the implants though they dont look as stuck on and I have more of a slope at the top now but if I push them up a little bit I get that round stuck on look again!
