A onsie?
So now I'm staying over night I have to prepare an overnight bag. I kinda begrudge taking nightwear because the last two times I've just stayed in my hospital gown
But... Knowing my luck if I didn't take anything but my nightgown it would be the one time I needed something to wear and I can't go without something new!!!
So I'm thinking...I don't wear pajamas, so I don't want to waste money on those, but I quite enjoy lounging in my onsie. I'm thinking this should be good because I can just pop a pair of UGGs on in the morning and I go home in them too looking like a right chav they give easy access for boobie checks. The only thing is I have to drains again and it was easy whilst wearing a gown to have them in... Do you think it will be OK to wear a onside with drains? Xx

Re: A onsie?
I don't really see the problem, just have the drains coming out one of the buttons. I would assume you'd get a button up onesie
Re: A onsie?
Wont it be a bit of a struggle to get on & off when u need a wee??

Re: A onsie?
LOL needs boobs, I don't think so, they literally drop off lol and pull up don't they...no different to wearing a baggy vest top to step into if that's what you wanted to wear. The only difficulty we have really is lifting your arms above your head and you don't need to do that with a onsie.
It's not button up though misf1... It's a zipped front. If the drains can come over the top it'll be fine... But ohhh poo! Now I'm worried it won't be suitable. Hopefully someone who has had drains recently can help me with that. I just can't for the life of me remember xx

Re: A onsie?
Hunny I'm sure it'll be fine, a zips easier to undo anyhow than button front pjs, I wore my zip up hoodies with just sports bra underneath for my ops.
Above all if your comfy in it then wear it :) x

Even if you have to tie the arms around your waist and have your boobs out you'll still be fine don't worry.

Re: A onsie?
Yes cookies great idea. I've got a a few. Lol love them but zip up one is best. Think you should be fine. I had drains 2 weeks ago and they went into one pot on my left side. The tube were quite long so either up out the top or as misf1 said just tie the arms around your waist. Nice and comfy to go home in too.
Not too long now cookie. It will soon be here. X

Re: A onsie?
I have one from Ann Summers (probably not what my bf at the time expected when I said I bought something from there lol!) and the top of it is like a vest top instead of having shoulders, might that work a bit better if you have drains in? xxx

Oh Jogo, you don't know what you're missing! They really are the best think since sliced bread! Especially now the winter nights have drawn in. They're so comfy and cozy. It's like an all in one sleep suit. I practically live in mine if I'm not expecting anybody. Every girl should have one heeheeeeee. Xx

A week tomorrow I think they'll be fine too. I remember now the drains are very long aren't they, mine were long enough to sit on the floor, so should be fine to come through the top. I'll take a best top with me as we'll just incase, but I'm sure it'll be ok. Xx

Thanks Summer, I've already ordered the zip top full sleeved now, I'm sure it'll be fine though. My hubby hates onsies. He calls them my 'anti-rape suits' xx
