My Appointment today.

Had my appointment with Mr Persico today. It didn't exactly go well nope

It's been decided due to the extent of the scarring around the areola I have to no have a lollipop lift on both sides. Wider vertical scar on the right because with ought it because so much skin is to be cut away I would have puckering without it. He also going to tighten the tissue in the right breast to give it more support.

Next problem. Because of the differences in scars I may end up with slight symmetry in the nipples and them being slightly higher than they are now and there's nothing he can do to prevent that due to the previous surgery.

He's assured me he'll do what he can to make good but as ways with breast surgery there's no guarantees.

He also wants me to stay over night. I said I'd be happy to have a day case but he convinced me it would be best that I stayed.

Nothing's ever bloody simple with me. nope

Awww cookie , sorry to hear its a little bit more complicated than 1st thought. But at least he's going to what's best for you and do the best he can to make them good.
Try and look at the positive of staying in hospital, nurses care on tap ! Tea, food , meds all at the push of that button!

I'm sure you'll be fine and he will do a brilliant job and you'll have perfect boobs.
Any revision surgery is nerve racking but your in good capable hands and hell do his best for you x Hug

Thanks girls I hope it's going to be OK... I could be replacing one complication for another, but the scars are so bad he agreed its a sacrifice worth taking.

Good news is the rest of my scars are so good MrPersico hadn't realised I'd had a full anchor uplift, he thought I'd just had a nipple lift! My verticals are I would say invisible though... Even to the trained eye too so it seems.

I'm not looking forward to staying overnight but your right MrsB having the reassurance there is nice.

Now I have to get an overnight bag together panic

he actually spent quite a bit of time with me which I appreciated. I was his last patient and there was definitely no rush throughout.

Just a case of keeping my fingers crossed now

At least its going to get sorted out for you. Better to be in this position than be fighting for a re-op. I really hope it all goes perfect so you can be 100% happy with your boobies xx

Aside from my scars, I have perfect boobs now, shape wise and symmetry, they really are good. This surgery is going to change that to get rid of the scars. I'm just hoping that its not too much

Just read your update cookie. I'm glad the revision is still going to go ahead. I'm sorry it isn't the best of news with the possible symetrey problems. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you though that you wont be able to see it. I understand you don't want to stay overnight but I'm sure you'll be fine, not to drugged up and you'll be on your i pad on here knowing you, telling us how well they're looking after you. It'll be worth the one night hun, you'll be fine. Also knowing you, you'll be very nervous with another revision and I can totally understand that, but think positivley, you've come this far, and it's all going to go acording to plan. 3rd time lucky hun
