Uncomfotable non wired bras!! :-(
Hi ladies,
I was given the ok to wear non wired bras BUT I can't find one that comfy! :-(
I brought an m and s one and it fits perfectly on my boobs back and straps are fine but the front bit under my boobs is so tight and uncomfy. :-(
I'm tempted to put my macom back on. :-(
Any advice would be a god send, I was so looking forward to this :-(

Have you been measured propley hunny? If the middle bit is too tight means the band is too tight or the cup size is too small. More likely the cup is too small. Bravissimo is the best place to get fitted hunny. Go there and get fitted they are brilliant and will find a good non underwire that's fits perfect for you.

I found a lovely Royce non wired bra in Bravissimo when I was early post op. I went to Bravissimo and got fitted into it. It's by far the comfiest bra I own. And because I was fitted into it, I knew it fitted perfectly.
Re: Uncomfotable non wired bras!! :-(
They fitted me at debenhams, and it seemed ok to start with
The problem I have is I am very broad, do need a 40 band I don't think bravissimo cater for that size!? I will look
I thought it could be the band was too small, but then wouldn't it be tight at the back too (it's not)
Oh dear more bra worry!! Lol
Thanks for your help. Xxx

I think they do hunny bravissimo are specialist for a range of sizes. I think If the middles not sitting against your rib age you'll need a bigger cup size sweety x

I can't recommend Bravissimo enough for getting fitted. They are amazing and they cater for every size you can think of. It does sound like you may need a cup size bigger if the front is not sat against your rib cage. It may be you need a band size smaller and two cup sizes bigger. It's well worth a visit to them.

Re: Uncomfotable non wired bras!! :-(
I had the same problem kaiser.... The swelling on my sternum made it really difficult for me to get comfortable in bras. The bra would always sit away from my breast bone and would never fit right.
I had to break myself into non sportsbras very gently, building up over time the amount of time I was able to wear a bra before I had to go back and seek the comfort again from my sports bra.
To be honest, it took me months till I was able to wear a bra all day in comfort, I hope it's not that long for you hun but you will will get there. It's not always going to feel like that or be like that. As the swelling subsides the bras comes to sit on top your chest instead of sitting away and bring with it so much more comfort. Xx

Hi kaiser
Im not sure if you would have the same issue with a underwire bra or whether the size is an issue itself? However my nurse informed me that if i seen an underwired bra that i wanted, i could just pull the underwire out and hey presto you have a non underwired bra!
I hope you sort it out chick x
