pre op
Had never been measured/fitted for a bra as didn't have anything to put in one pre op!.. lol .I always just used to buy a 32 or 34 B and stuff it with chicken fillets! without a bra on I was empty/flat with a tiny bit breast tissue behind nipple area, so now I have boobs feel like all my Xmas's have come at once...lol x
P.s 30f sounds huge but I'd say I look a full C cup which is what I told my surgeon I was hoping achieve so very happy with my results so far . x

It's not babe. Mirren has her own perception of what a C cup should look like and that's what she sees when looking in the mirror.
She's happy with her 'LOOK' though and that ps what matters most when having a BA x

Re: 9 weeks today!
Youre right Cookie , pre op I looked at surgery before and after sites and people similar size to me, the boobs I liked/was hoping to achieve had their post op size being full C cup which isnt huge as I never wanted to be too big just in proportion.I look the same size as the pics I looked at but can't quite figure out how I measure an F cup I'd have thought they would look massive but they don't? its got me puzzled, doesn't take much to do that though!.. lol Xcookie wrote:zebra1984 wrote:Measure an F cup and only look a full C?!?! Re: 9 weeks today!
Im new to all this bra size stuff too but I think you maybe measure an F because you've got such a small back. The smaller the back the bigger the cup measurement will come out. The cups in a 30f will be a lot smaller than the cups in a 34 or 36f.. I think that's how it works?? Cookie? Lol
Either way it sounds impressive and looks impressive so good times all round!!! Xxxx

Re: 9 weeks today!
That's exactly right queeny  it's really not possible to measure an F and not look it..
If you'd have thought about an F cup pre-op that would have seemed HUGE to most of us, but then, that perception comes from seeing F cups on rails in shops such as Asda, Tesco, Primark... The cheaper shops shall we say that don't cater for the small back large bust and as most of us had little to fill a cup pre-BA it seemed pretty pointless paying a lot for bras...
How many of us can actually say we picked up a bra in a small back and large cup size before having surgery... I doubt there's many.
So our 'perceptions' are that of a large back, large cup.
Now, here's where it gets complicated. If you go a shop and pick up two bras, one in a 30 back F cup and one in a 34 back F cup. The cup size is soooo different, with the 34 being much bigger than the 30!
So you can see with these misconceptions pre-op just why it causes so much confusion post-op with women claiming they don't 'look' they size they perceived they would be. Xx
