losing skin? Empty losing skin?

Post by Sharona 1st June 2009, 10:23 am

Hi girls,

I have been losing skin from my arms, boobs, back, etc.. A LOT of skin. Is this somekind of after-shock from the anesthesia? Shifty Hysterical

I don't mind changing to a new skin, lol, but it's a bit annoying when it starts peeling off at work! hehhe...

Thanks!

Not sure if its the anesthesia, but i had this reaction too-i had to use extra moisturiser all over my body for a good few months after my BA to combat dry flakey skin! 👍

me too, it was like i had been sunburnt and the skin was peeling, not sure what actually causes this though so would love to know, hopefully it will ease up for you soon after a good moisturising x

Oh Soo sorry you are experiencing this!! as the others say plenty of moisturising will hopefully help. Not sure why it is happening. But hopefully you will have nice new soft skin soon. Good luck Hug xx

anaesthetic does all sorts of strange things to the body so it could well be a reaction. Get yourself a lovely gentle body scrub and keep moisturising. Using Bio Oil or Oilatum in the bath could help too.

I have this too like when you are sun burned. I thought I was turning into a snake, shedding my skin. But it's all part of the healing process.

I had dry skin all over my boobs for a few weeks. I just scrubbed my boobs (not hard!) after I was allowed a shower and it gradually went.

Oh dears, I have tried scrubbing, moisturizing, even thought about filling the bath with lotion and diving in, lol, but nothing seems to be helping :suspect:

Oh well, that's not a big worry anyway, I'm just happy to have boobs! And I can't wait to go shopping for bra's!!!! So far I've only ordered one sports bra from internet, that's it! ;D
Oh but... I ordered some bra's, they should arrive any day now, wooohooo! Flash

Thank you all lovelies for always being here to support and answer all (even silly) questions!
