more upbeat! again!
This process is a rollercoaster isnt it!
I cant thank u all enough for your kind words yesterday after i saw everything for the first time. Today, I feel better about it all, its early days yet and I will save my worrying for six weeks when the brusing *should* be gone.
I went and bought better fitting sports bras today, and they are v comfy for walking around etc... but not so much for sleeping or lying... is that normal? am I meant to be uncomfortable? What are the reasons why we have to wear them day and night?
I tried a few types, but couldnt really get on with the ones u zip up front as much as i wanted to, i felt like i needed to squash my boobs together to zip them up, and they are def not in any state to be squished right now!
Just bought a couple M&S standard ones in the end. Def not v sexy!

Re: more upbeat! again!
For you having a reduction hun the main reason for you wearing a sportsbra is to put as little strain on your stitches/wounds as possible. Without the support the skin could stretch away leaving you with unsightly scars sweetie.
I'm so glad to read you feeling happier hun, you really have been through the mill and its great to finally see you come through the other side now. Xx

Glad you are feeling better today hun. You need to wear a sports bra to help keep your new boobs stable so they can adhere to the pockets, some girls are told to wear them for 6 weeks in the day and 12 weeks at night, some are told 3 months, depends on your surgeon. I am nearly 6 months into my 2nd b a and still wear a bra at night. xx
