Do you tell your PS about what other PS have said?
Just wondering if when at consultations and a PS suggests something if you've said something like 'well the other Dr I saw suggested this....'
Obvs not in a way to annoy them, but is it the done thing to let surgeons know that you've been for other consultations? Or would they get funny.
I've had my first consultation today and I've booked a few others, so I just wanted to know before I step on any ones toes/**naughty word** them off.

I'd go in with an open mind at first lovely... Allow the surgeon to give you an unclouded assessment and then after hearing why they have to say, if it differs from your previous consultation tell them then what the other said and ask them to explain why their surgery plan might differ. Xx

Agree with cookie Hun, each surgeon will have their own way of doing things and what they feel comfatable within. The sizes. Some surgeons are conservative others are more 'big boob' surgeons giving you a more generous or maximum they feel comfatable with giving you for your body frame etc.
Just because one surgeon will give you a maximum of a certain size and another may give you bigger suggestion there's no garantee the first surgeon would be comfatable with giving you the bigger size suggested by another surgeon.
If you have a look or size in mind they will always do their best to achieve that within their limits and what is achieveable for your size, bwd, etc xx

The first surgeon I saw suggested 360 overs then the second and third both said either 380 or 410 partial unders. I asked the second the third ones why they suggested unders as someone else had said overs and i was much more comfortable with their answers than with what the first guy says. They will all have their reasons for suggesting different things so just ask them why they've suggested that and they should have a valid answer. good luck babe xx

Thanks for every ones replies.
I'll wait and see what the others say first. It's just the surgeon I saw yesterday only offers partial unders, which is what I think is best for me, but I'd rather he was like 'well I do overs or unders but I'd suggest you have.....' rather than just saying he only did one type of placement. So basically that might not be the right suggestion for me but that's all he was offering. Hmmm

If a surgeon only offers on placement hun -RUN!
What's right for one woman isn't right for all and in doing only one placement for all women, that surgeon is setting themselves up for a whole lotta comebacks that's for sure.
A good surgeon will take in all a women's measurements as well as other factors before deciding a placement that is best for the patient and not best for them 'cos it their preferred surgery.
Hope the others go well lovely. Xx
