Do you generally get bigger or smaller?
Once you have dropped and fluffed, when all is settled, do you generally get bigger or smaller than the sports bras you were wearing constantly? Or stay the same?

The sports bra you will get will only be a rough estimate and you may buy one in a bigger band size to accommodate the swelling in the early stages.
It is only when the swelling subsides, and they drop into position at around 6-12 weeks is the only time you will get a 'true' fitting in a bra.

Sorry I meant cup wise? I haven't really swelled up much? I know obviously if you go up a band size you go down a cup etc, but I just wondered in general if there is a drastic change in cup size after they settle? My friend had her BA and said she was a C cup in sports bra and now is an A cup 7 months later, she only got 100cc implants under the muscle and I know everyone is different but that just sounds like a drastic drop!

It shouldn't change too much, it's always best to get fitted though hunny and you never know you may be surprised and be a bit bigger than you thought! Xx

That's what I thought Cookie. Although I have my other halfs sister nagging at me (cos she knows best obv) that I will drop 1 minimum or 2 cup sizes by 3 months and I will lose my firmness by then, etc etc.

Re: Do you generally get bigger or smaller?
Ummmm yeahhhh right! Haha.
As you drop, you do lose the fullness from the upper pole you had when you first had your BA. But this hasn't gone, what has happened is that the implant falls to an anatomical shape inside the body as the swelling goes and the skin relaxes to release it... Your lower pole of the breast then fills out protruding the breast forward.
This period is called 'fluffing' this is when so many of us gain size. I wore a DD sportsbra. I'm now wearing an F cup hun. 3 years on they're still nice, pert and firm. Xx

Yeah that's what I thought Cookie! She was calling me lazy etc for not getting up and on with it sooner! Also I am following my surgeons advice about not lifting or driving etc until 3 weeks, but she done everything as normal 1 week post op and she had unders. So she thinks I should be getting on with it too

Staying the same size would be ok, just don't want to drop 2 cup sizes!

Mine are a year in November, anatomical unders ,i still fill a 34 D cup ...same as after my BA ,they have dropped but still quite firm with a nice wobble!!!....wouldnt think they could suddenly shrink like normal boobs....maybe your friend has lost a lot of weight??xxx

Nah I just think she is an overexaggerator! I seen her after her BA and she didn't look like a C cup, she only got 100cc unders and was completely flat chested.

Re: Do you generally get bigger or smaller?
Mine looked smaller once the swelling went down, but i stayed the same size. But Yeah they definitely won't shrink unless you loose weight, it's not like the implant is going to suddenly get smaller! Haha

Re: Do you generally get bigger or smaller?
Firstly, Just Peachy - she sounds well jel. Don't listen to her!
This is all really reasuring though that they don't get smaller. I thought that they would on account of all the swelling, but it is good to know that the post surgery result will be pretty close to the final result.
Oh my gosh I just want this done now! I literally cannot wait! xxx
