hiya hun. not long at all, dont worry you will be fine. If you got any questions ask away. We all got pre op nerves. But it really is over very quickly. Are you having an overnight stay? What size implants you having?

Re: Not long now!
Thanks girls xx
I am sooo excited, can't sleep but keeping myself busy doin garden and DIY. I hate sitting still especially if there things to be done think that will be hard part for me, oh and watching my 3yr old make a mess!
My surgeon hasn't given me a definate size, he says he will try different sizes at the op to what best suits, has anyone else had this?

Re: Not long now!
I didn't have that hun, I got to choose my size, well I told him I wanted to look a D/DD he suggested a size and I chose the size bigger. But I know others have had the surgeon pick for them. As long as he knows what you want I'm sure he will do just that for you.
It's good to keep busy, it will be hard for you knowing you can't do much afterwards, but just look after yourself and rest up to look after your new assets. Your body will tell you when it's tired or you tried to do too much.

Re: Not long now!
Its very exiting your op is quite soon, but I would definitely try on sizers first. I would advise doing the rice test if you havnt already, surgeons often have different ideas about what size suits you and ultimately it should be your decision. A D cup in real size looks much bigger then a fake D cup so it might be worth playing around with different weights of rice and putting it in a pair of tights, as a rough guide. I took mine in with me to the surgeon!

Re: Not long now!
Thanks feel bit better knowing that its common.
Also worried about stretch marks. I was lucky and didn't get a one when I was pregnant but with 9 months of Palmers Cocoa Butter and gradual stretching. It must be more of a problem if the skin is stretched quickly??
But stretch marks v boobies! No contest!
Only 3 more sleeps to go woo hoo!!! xxx

Only 3 more! thats great!!
I was worried about stretch marks too, I got them when I was pregnant although over the years they've faded so barely noticable on my boobs, but I've not had one at all (fingers crossed I dont wake up with them now!) In fact, I'd say the implants have made the ones I had even less noticable!
