1 boob a lot harder/swelled than the other?
Sorry girls i am posting a lot of threads tonight i am in panic mode! (im sure this is normal only 4 days post op!)
My left boob (& i am left handed if that is any help) is a lot harder & more swelled than my right one which feels obviously hard but can feel softness round it, my left one is totally hard has a bruise around the bottom & generally hurts more than the other.
I researched the recovery process before my BA but now ive actuallynhad them done i am finding myself panicking about absolutely everything & i am constantly looking & touching them i am driving myself mad!

Each breast heals individually and you need to see it as 2 operations. Its normal to have one that heals quicker than the other especially at this early stage xx

Re: 1 boob a lot harder/swelled than the other?
Don't worry about asking questions lovely....that's what we're here for
When you had your BA your had two operations - one on the left breast, one on the right... It's very possible that the left had a little more trauma getting the implant in than the right and therefore healing on the side that had a little more trauma than the other, in your case seemingly your left will take a little longer to heal than the other.
Nothing at all to worry about lovely. It's very common for one boob to heal quicker. They do eventually catch up with one another. Xx

What you have to remember is that a b a is really 2 ops and therefore you can heal at different rates. You are so early that you still have many changes yet to come. Try not to worry hun it does sound normal xx

Hiya
I'm doing the same as you tonight too posting on lots of topics as I'm panicking lol !!
After my BA I had more trouble with my left boob and it was more swollen and defo more bruised than my right ! But they did even out abit after a couple of days but my left has always felt harder when touched.
I'm 13 days post op and tonight my left boob feels a lot bigger and harder,my right has gone soft and feels kinda lower I'm guessing its starting to drop ??
I'm guessing its normal as we both are still in our early days xx

Re: 1 boob a lot harder/swelled than the other?
I agree with what all the others have said hun, I am right handed yet my right side I had no problems with yet my left was much more painful, this boob was a little smaller then my right so obviousbly went through a bit much putting the implant in. I am now 6 and half weeks post op and my left is very numb still yet right is fine. There are lots of healing stages to go through so try not to worry xx
