Showing early signs of cc :(
Hi Girls,
I had my 2 month check with ps yesterday. I went with concerns regarding my left implant not dropping but thought it was jsut that. Unfortunately he said it is due to the start of cc which is making the implant hard and high. He has told me to vigorously massage it and to lay on the floor not the bed as it's not hard enough for 5 mins, twice a day! Apparantly this will stretch the scar tissue/capsule that is developing around it. I am so upset as I thought my re-op had gone so well but with the lefty sitting so high and quite harder than the right it seems to have put a downer on it all.
I am hoping the massage and laying on it helps as I honestly dont think I can handle any more complications I have to see him in another 2 months so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Has anyone else had signs of cc that have been helped by massage etc I need this baby to drop! xx

Re: Showing early signs of cc :(
Hi hun ,sorry this is happening to you. I had cc with my 1st ba but I also had pips so I had them replaced anyway. I have taken high dose vit e capsules since day 1 of 2nd op as there is some evidence that it helps prevent cc. My surgeon did say to me that if you get it once there is a higher chance of getting it a second time so I will continue to take the vit e and pray it does nt happen again. CC is a natural body defence against a foreign object and to a degree it happensI to everyone ,its just a lot worse in some than others. I hope it all goes well with the massage and that it will help. xx

Its good that it has been identified early and hopefully you can avoid further surgery. So sorry to hear things arent perfect at the moment but it sounds like your surgeon has given you some good advice

Hopefully it's been caught in time Butterfly and the massage will work to help settle the breast. Really hoping with all my heart it does.

Sorry to hear about your cc, glad that it is in the early stages and hope that his advice works.I unfortunately just kept hoping my lefty would settle not realising that it was cc and now it is so hard and uncomfortable, having cc removed next month.x

Hey Hun,
Really sorry to hear you have the early signs of cc.
How are your boobs now? Do you think the massage and vitamin e's have helped with the cc? Have you noticed any difference?
I'm really hoping it has.
Xxx
