Dr Paganelli THG Empty Dr Paganelli THG

Post by JetsetGemma 8th October 2012, 5:27 pm

Hi,

Has anyone had surgery with Dr Paganelli? I've just had a consultation with him and he seemed really professional and experienced but the thing I am worried about is he recommended a nipple lift, the scarring puts me off a bit, he said he would do it without but the results would be better with a nipple lift and I chose 445 or 470 implants (decide on the day if I go ahead).

I have had another consultation previous to that with Dr Frati who said that I was borderline of needing a nipple lift but he didn't think it was neccessary and that as I want large-ish (410cc although I later thought I might like bigger hence the second consultaion choosing larger ones) implants that I should be OK without one.

So now I am confused and would like to know if anyone has had either of these surgeons although I do have a couple of other consultations lined up. And also if anyone regretted having/not having a nipple lift? When I search a few things come up for Dr Frati but only 1 post for Dr Paganelli...

Thanks girls xxx

I'm glad you have more consultations ahead Gemma. It'll help you decide on the best route to go...

If some say you're borderline though and others recommend you could fill the breast to give a little lift and you're still at a stale mate, I really recommend you have the lift lovely, those are large implants and over time your breasts will naturally sag anyway. Having the lift will aesthetically elongate the time your boobs will look good, whereas if you're borderline, you'll probably end up having a lift anyway over time so you may as well get your boobs looking the best they can be now... This is just my opinion though babe, having the other consultations will help you greatly. Xx

Dr Frati did my 1st BA, just a straightforward BA. I had my 2nd one with THG but not that surgeon. I had a nipple lift with my 2nd BA, not because they were sagging low but because one was too much over to the left, so it was moved to the right. The scarring just makes the nipple look darker so as only one of mine was done, the other nipple looks lighter but it doesn't bother me x

Thanks girls. It's all so confusing and I have been researching this on and off for about 10 years but the last month or 2 I have been researching on here and other similar forums and I'm still not sure what to go for. I went to a 3rd consultation yesterday with Mr Meleagros who I really liked and he said I didn't need the nipple lift, he also went into more detail as to why not and said the measurement that they would need to be before he would recommend one and I was way off what he said, if it had have been a cm or 2 I may have gone with it but it was about 4cms out of what he said. I'm confusing myself now so I hope that all makes sense... I have read a lot of good things about him on here so I'm very tempted to go with him, it's also cheaper than the others I have been to and although I would never choose the cheapest it helps that the one I liked best was also the cheapest option of the 3 so far :-) xx

If you feel he is the right person for you then go ahead with your gut, just make sure you are making the decision for the right reasons. Its easy to find yourself booking with someone because they have said all the things you want to hear. Make sure you are booking the surgeon because you are convinced they will give u a good look and that you can put yor trust in them. Its not worth just going with a surgeon just to avoid the nipple lift as Cookie has said if you do need it its best to have it done now to ensure the longevity of your surgery but if Mr Meleagros is sure you dont need it and you are genuinely convinced that he is right and you are happy with him then go for it!!

Thanks 5stonedown, I understand what you mean, I don't want to avoid it if I really need it and it will give me the best results. Dr Paganelli said he was happy to do either way but he would advise the nipple lift as if I decided to have it later I would be paying a lot more than having it done at the same time. I decided to book a few more consultations after he said that as I wanted to see if he was the only surgeon that recommended it or if a few are saying that I should have the nipple lift then I should probably just go with it but so far I have had 3 consultations and he was the only one who said I should have it. The thing is I am 29 with 2 kids so chances of me getting my nipples out in Stringfellows or lads mags are slim to none at my age lol so I'm not overly worried as they still face forward, they are just maybe slightly lower than they would be in an ideal boobie world. Just saw your swimming costume before/after photo, you really do look amazing, if I end up looking like you do then I will be more than happy! x
