Nervous for first surgeon consultation!
Ok, I'm sat here writing my questions down and deciding what I want to say I want and how to explain myself properly and then I've had all these new thoughts!
What if he says I need an uplift and will be saving for years to get that done! Its taken so long to save to this point and really worried that it wont go ahead. Also had a dream that someone told me I had to wait 10 years lol
I have just sat here with a daydream playing in my head of how tomorrow will go.. and he wont believe I'm 19 and laugh my boobs are so vile after my babies and I will die of embarrassment, put my top back on and walk out the room with my head hung in shame and tears streaming down my face I know I got carried away and this wont happen but I'm actually quite nervous now thinking of these things. Especially since my mum can't come in with me because she will be waiting outside with my 2 little ones. Need to make sure I write EVERYTHING down!
Was anyone else like this just over a consultation or am I the only one being ridiculous?! lol

Re: Nervous for first surgeon consultation!
You'll be fine... xx
You're doing the right thing writing everything down lovely. In all the excitement and nerves it's easy to get boobie brain and everything you thought through turns to mush
Taking your top and bra off for the first time to be examined can be nerve wracking. I completely understand how you feel as will many others reading this. But it's not as bad as you might think. After the first few seconds you soon realise the surgeon isn't looking at your boobs, but at a surgical procedure which he is analysing to make look better, nothing more.
About an uplift... I do understand money is tight and the thought of further surgery equaling more cost can be a terrifying thought. But do trust me on this mais, if your surgeon does think you need an uplift and I have no idea whatsoever if you do or not, but if you do, then it's just not worth scrimping on that, because in the long run you'll pay out far more having a BA when you need a lift do to sagging than you would to save that bit more and to do things right.
Really hoping all goes your way sweetheart and looking forward to reading how things went. xx
Re: Nervous for first surgeon consultation!
Dont worry your surgeon has seen thousands of women with all sorts of pre-op boobs! I lost 5 stone and my boobs were a mess. I was nervous getting them out but they are there to help you and you wouldnt be standing there if you had perfect boobs as you wouldnt need surgery if you did!! Dont worry about the uplift hun. Hopefully you will just need a BA but wait and see what they surgeon says and dont get too worked up about it. Make sure you ask all your questions and dont just walk out without them unanswered as you will kick yourself afterwards for not asking! I see that u are seeing Mr Chantarasak. He is a good surgeon and is head of surgery at MYA but he likes quite big fake looking boobs so dont be surprised if he offers you big implants!!!

HI Mais04,
just wanted to wish you good luck for your consultation, and say that i'm sure everything will be fine, and once you've spoken with the surgeon you should feel much better, and start looking forward to your new boobs!

I was so embarrassed getting my chest out. But it's just another day at the office to them. I had the same fears too. I kept having dreams that I was standing naked in the supermarket etc!!! But after the initial unveiling if the bee stings I was fine !! So try not to worry xx good luck xx just another step closer x

and... breathe! Thank you everyone, I know I'm being silly and should feel much better after tomorrow. I think it's the unknown where it's the first one.
Cookie I wouldnt go without an uplift if he said I needed one would just have to wait longer, although I would be gutted. I would want the best outcome possible :)
5stonedown, I thought he did more moderate sizes, have seen lots that I love the look of but now you've said that I'll make sure I'm clear about what I want. thank you
Will have to think of it that he literally looks at boobs all day long and will have seen a lot like mine.. thankyou again everyone. Will let you all know how it goes when I'm back tomorrow xx

Re: Nervous for first surgeon consultation!
Hope your consultation goes well today. I was so scared and I had to go to my first consult alone, but I soon felt at ease and the nerves turned to excitement!
