Am i being realistic?
I am hopefully having a ba and uplift next month (HOPEFULLY SHE SAYS!)
I was planning on taking 10 days off work ( i work as a nanny and childminder) but there is one day i might have to work, 3 days post op. All it entails is me walking to school (2 mins away) and walking back. making some tea and playing for 2 hours. the child is 9 and doesnt need any lifting etc. Do you think i will be ok? his mum knows i am having a small op she has no idea its a boob job and i dont want her to know! i have my own 4 and 7 year olds anyway and i will still need to look after them
sorry for all my posts, so grateful for this site! xx

I would say you'll be fine walking there and providing you do NOTHING and just sit there you'll be fine but if there's any chance that your gonna have you do anything strenuous then no dont go x

Hmmm it's a tricky one... I was fine moving around etc at 3 days but I wouldn't be making tea etc.
from my own experience, I wouldn't say it was impossible, but I wouldn't say it was the best idea if it could be avoided x

Hi, I would say no hun. You don't know how you are going to be after surgery, you could be feeling absoulutley fab or the complete opposite so I would advise not to commit to anything if you can.
A full anchor lift with ba is more evasive surgery than a straight forward ba hun so try and give yourself the very best recovery you can ie do as little as possible xx

Re: Am i being realistic?
This is definitely no 'small op' FC. You're going to be having 'major surgery' and 3 days post-op you're still very much going to be healing. You'll be weak, tired, uncomfortable and in condition to be caring for children. Not only will you be putting yourself at risk hun, but because you won't be up to giving the children your complete attention you might also put them at risk.
In my opinion lovely, you should contact your employer now and give her plenty of time to arrange cover whist you're healing babe.
So sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear babe. xx

You are right, i am being irresponsible. even if i am taking pain killers i need to inform OFSTED. My other half is going to be here for my kids and i was worried she will wonder why he cant look after hers. she doesnt understand the ofsted thing. will take the full 13 days off. do you think that will be enough?x
