Why me - again?
Hey everyone, sorry to be so negative but I am so upset as I think I have a complication - again.
I had a re-op on the 26/8 6 months after my first BA to sort out numerous complications mainly in my Left boob, these being, Seroma, bottoming out, rippling.... and now two weeks post - op I have a massive dent in the bottom of my right boob and it looks like it could be "double bubble".
I could just cry - well I have and shouted at my husband to make myself feel better... I just feel like this is so unfair and don't understand how I can get so may complications. I follow the surgeons advice to a T and do all the right things to maintain good health, arghhh...
Sorry for the rant.

Re: Why me - again?
Please don't be disheartened just yet Steph... wait and see what you're surgeon says lovely. In the early days of healing dents can occur in our boobs which aren't necessarily a complication but just our boobs being buggars and not playing nice whilst they're healing.
I didn't have a dent under my boob but I did have a big dent on the inner side of my boob which made it look really odd.... over time it did fill back out and regain it's shape, so don't panic just yet lovely. Make an appointment see your surgeon and see what they say sweetness.
Big hugs for you and pleasse let us know how you get on won't you. xx xx

Re: Why me - again?
Sorry to hear you aren't happy hun, I wouldn't worry just yet though you are early PO and while you've had implants before these are a new pair and therefore require their own time to settle and drop. Generally double bubble occurs if the breast required a lift for excess tissue/sagging which the implant can't fill out. It is fixable through further surgery, not something you will want to hear I know but IF it doesn't fix itself then it is treatable.
Personally I'd save your husband any ear ache (LOL) and try not to worry or jump to any conclusions until you see your surgeon again and then make ANY concerns known. Remember new boobs can always go through some pretty odd stages early PO so try not to worry hun xx

Re: Why me - again?
Thanks for your reply.X I have only just seen the dent tonight and instantly panicked thinking "OMG another surgery, I don't think I can go through it again so soon", so its good to know that it might just be my boobs settling... Normally I am able to be rational but when it comes to my boobs it just seems to go out of the window!!! I have waited soooo long for them and for it to all go so wrong its making me seriously fall out of love with my new boobs.
Will keep you posted, thanks again.X

Re: Why me - again?
I completely understand how you're feeling hun. I think after suffering a complication you then become seriously over critical of your boobs and every thing you see that's not 'the norm' then sends your head in a complete spin.
The love DOES come back though Steph, Trust me babe xx

Re: Why me - again?
Bless you, know how you are feeling and to give you a bit of reassurance this week I had the same thing my insicions on one boob all indented in and underneath was very lumpy and it felt like the implant, got myself into a panic and messages a couple of ladies ( they know who they are ) who I trust the advice of and they gave me some great advice. Although I can still feel what I think is the implant underneath the indentation of the incision has sorted itself out. Hopefully this will happen for you too, we are in early post op stage and fingers crossed it is all part of our boobies healing xxx

Re: Why me - again?
Just to update...
The dent is resolving, whoop! Am now hopeful that its all part of the healing process and as Cookie said, I think I had become over critical with my boobies watching for the slightest thing to look "wrong".
And yes, the love is returning!!!
Thanks again for all the advice and support from you all it really did help me.X
