Re: Waiting in hospital room :o not long now
thanks everyone, everything is ok i am just in a lot of pain :( my boobs dont hurt its just the underneath part if that makes sense like where the cuts were made i think, thats really hurting a lot and my ribs a bit too... i am taking pain killers but doesnt make much difference. They were going to give me an injection in my bum for the pain but i was scared of the needle so i said no lol im a wimp!
Oh by the way i have the tube things coming from my boobs that have blood in this is probably a stupid question but what is this for?? He said it will probably stay in for 3 days :( ....... thanks again for all ur comments :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Congrats on your new boobs hun!! How is your nose? They are drains huni to draw excess blood and fluid away from the cavity behind incision site xx

Glad your all done, the drains are a pain to carry around but mine were removed the following morning rather than being sent home with them! How's your nose?

It's not a stupid question at all Sarah... The tubes are there to drain the excess fluid from your boobs. Some surgeons like to use them, others not.
I stayed in the hospital for 2 days so they remained in the whole time I was there. I had them removed upon discharge from the hospital.
When they remove them you'll be asked to take deep breaths in and out, it a strange sensation at first, but I never felt a thing sweetheart.
Will you be going home with the drains?
Re: Waiting in hospital room :o not long now
