Bra size but not as we know it.......
I finally had my stitches removed on Monday and was given the all clear to wear a non wired bra from this Monday coming, still wear my sports bra at night for another 3 weeks (I'll probably still wear it most days) but any way back to the point in hand, After having measured myself again, I ordered a selection of bras to see what size I was and was astonished to find that I can fit into a 34D/DD comfortably,
How did I get from being a 38 band to a comfortable 34 ????
God I love my new boobies

Re: Bra size but not as we know it.......
Were you wearing a 38 band pre-op? or just for for your sportsbras jlmcd?
A lot of women find they wear the wrong sized bras pre-op... mostly because we're too ashamed of their pre-op boobies to have gone for a proper 'fitting' so when they get fitted post-op, the difference in size can be quite remarkable!
The other thing is during recovery there can be quire a lot of swelling around the ribs. I went from a 32 to a 36 at one time in my recovery, but as the swelling subsided, I soon returned to my normal band size.
Really good to read your loving your new boobs. Heeheeeeee, it's great isn't it xx

Re: Bra size but not as we know it.......
Pre op I was wearing a 38A Cookie, never really had a measure as never really had a need to, I only bought padded bra's to hide my fillets in....lol but now that I have boobies, I had a proper measure up and was totally surprised, still have some swelling in my right one so I'm guessing they could go down slightly,
Just after I had them done I was so upset that I was only able to have 255cc implant instead of 310-325 due to skin not stretchy enough to accom a larger implant, in my head I kept thinking that I'd only be small due to my pre size,
Just a quick question also, I posted in the post op stats a little while back but left the post op size out, how long should I leave it to have it amended with new stats, and do I have to message you to have it amended ?

Probably around the 6 to 12 week post-op mark would give you best idea of what your resulting size might be, although that could still change later if you were to fluff more!
If you wanted your original post updated then when you're ready you could just PM the link to your post and I'll add your results for you, or you could just quote your original post and add the revised stats yourself that way sweetie. xx
