Had BA 10 months ago on NHS now really worried :(
Hi girls
Sorry I've been away for so long but I really need your help!!
I had my BA in November, WAS chuffed to bits now I'm just in bits :'(
My left has recently developed an indentation from the middle right across to my nipple, my right falls down to the side when I lay on my back. I have an appointment to see my surgeon tomorrow but just wanted some advice from you lovely ladies :) I had crease incision and sub placement. I'm constantly aching and every now and then the left throbs like a stinging pain :(
Any advice will be appreciated xx

Welcome back Claire
The aching, throbbing and stinging sensations could still be due to your implants settling. It can take up to a year or more for our implants to fully settle babe. Your rightie falling to the side could be that it's dropped and settled before your leftie and therefore falls as a natural breast would now and your leftie still has time to catch up yet.
The indent across your leftie though I haven't got a clue about. Any indents on your breast should always be investigated though so you've absolutely done the right thing in going back to see your surgeon lovely.
Please let us know how you get on sweetheart. Hope it all goes well. xx

Hi Cookie :) long time no speak!
Thanks Hun, it's just he told me at consultation the placement on my frame will hold on my chest when I lay down and won't move (probably not worded that the best lol) I've done so much research cookie I've scared myself and just told myself I'm gonna be having revision surgery :( the Internet is good for lots of things including scaring you :/
I'll update you tomorrow on what he says xx

As you've already told yourself hun, it's best not to look too much into things hun, so try to stay positive until tomorrow.
Are your implants fully under the muscle Claire?
Partials 'generally' do hold the implants stable babe, but there are women on here with partials that have quite a lot of natural movement from them and it's just fine sweetie, honestly and do feel free to ask on the 'General Breast Aug' section of the forum if you think it may put your mind a little more at ease too.
Try and keep your chin up hun and just and wait and see what tomorrow brings. xx

No they're partial... It was similar looking to my left up until around 2 months ago and I didn't think anything of it it the time but earlier today I was at work and bent over to pick something up I had to go to the loo to move the implant, I could see down my top my implant had actually turned onto its side so I had to push it back... Wasn't nice at all so I'm thinking maybe the pocket is too big or it's come out of the pocket?
It was the dent that made me make the call but I'm going to tell him about the above too because it's on my right boob that doesn't have the dent.... Xx

Hey
Well I went back to see my surgeon yesterday, said it could be a number of things and I need to have a scan!! I know this sounds ungrateful but as with everything else on the NHS I have to wait :(
Don't know what to do!?

I'm so sorry you have to wait Claire
Hopefully all will be OK when you have your scan babe. The good news about having a BA is that none of the possible complications are life threatening Claire, so if the scan does pick something up at worst it would just need a re-op to make things right lovely, but that's the worst scenario. Fingers crossed all goes well .
Big hugs for you and I hope the scan date comes through for you very soon. xxx

Re: Had BA 10 months ago on NHS now really worried :(
Thanks girls.
I'm taking co-codamol tablets at the mo but ringing Dr's first thing Monday for something stronger because they're not really doing much :( I asked the pharmacist if I could buy anything stronger and he said no (which I knew anyway but just preyed something new had come out), he actually suggested if the pain doesnt settle over the weekend to take myself to a&e and they'll have to do something if they can see I'm on the scan waiting list.
Suppose I'll just have to sit it out and maybe chase my surgeons secretary late next week if not heard anything?? I'm back to sleeping with my v pillow and I feel worse now than I did after I had my BA... I'm starting to regret it in a way :(
Thanks again though girls xxx

Re: Had BA 10 months ago on NHS now really worried :(
Awww don't feel like that lovely I had a ruptured implant that caused me terrible pain and had to get that fixed and I had a long wait due to problems with the clinic and after care, but even though it wasn't the best time I ever had, I don't ever regret having the surgery and I'm sure when the problem is fixed you'll be happy too
Whenever you feel so bad, always look back to your pre-op pics Claire and remember the reasons why you had the surgery in the first place, I know that always makes me feel better. xx

Sorry to read you're having such a bad time ClaireLeeds, I hope you can get an answer soon.. I can't imagine the stress you must be under in not knowing and the physical pain won't be helping.
Just keep looking at the light at the end of the tunnel, one way or another this will get sorted and the discomfort won't last forever. xx

Hi, hope your feeling better, spoke about it on here a few time with various people and codeine is not the best. I went to my gp the other day and she gave me zapain, 30mg codein 500mg paracetamol and taking it with diclifenac sodium, the results are so much better on this as I feel them working, such a relief to be getting sleep now.
Really feel for you lovely, fingers crossed for you xxx
