I'm 1 day post op and feel my belly looks really bloated a huge just wondered if this is normal? And it will go down lol

Afraid so, the pain killers U have been given cause constipation and I didn't go for about 4-5 days, that and water retention but dont worry it'll all go down. I was given a list of food to eat that helps eg Weetabix, grapes etc if U are in discomfort take a mild laxative like senacot. X

Yes it's normal! I've seen a lot of girls on here who are early post-op with bloated bellies. I can't give you a more detailed explanation, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to explain why it happens!

Thank you! Can't wait till it goes down my belly feels bigger than my boobies haha!
I guess as the days go on and the less painkillers I take it will start to go down

I am 4 days post op and I am still massively bloated even senacot didn't help me! Hope it goes soon xx

Try eating plenty of fibre and drinking plenty of water... prunes work amazingly well too!

If you still find you have a poo belly try a gentle laxative, I used movicol after my op. x
