Bra fitting help please
Hi ladies, I'm nearly 6 weeks post op next weekend and decided to get professionally fitted so I have an idea of what size I am and to prevent me wasting money on ill fitting bras. I was just wondering where is best to go? I don't live near any big stores so will have to travel and I can get to Marks & Spencer's, la senza, Ann summers and Debenhams. An advice welcomed and I'm assuming going to more than one is best?

I would defo go to m&s and la senza and the more you try the more accurate you know it will be. How exciting.xx

Re: Bra fitting help please
Sounds like an obvious thing to say, but get fitted in the place you're most likely to buy bras from! You'll probably be different sizes in different shops depending on the styles of their bras....so get fitted somewhere you're likely to go back to!
Re: Bra fitting help please
Debenhams are good, I don't think LaSenza go any bigger than a D or DD anymore so they might not be the best place to go.
I'd say don't buy more than a couple of bras to start with cos you may still have more changes to come. x

Re: Bra fitting help please
Debenhams ! M&S are useless and la senza's bra sizes are totally different to anywhere else, so if you want a bra from la senza I'd get fitted into it.
Re: Bra fitting help please
Thank you all for your advice. Think I'm most likely to buy bras from Debenhams so will definatly get measured there. La Senza will probably be of no use to me as I'm already bursting out of my 34DD bra I'm currently wearing! lol
My consultant put me in underwired bras from the outset so even though I've had the benefit of not having to wear a sports bra for weeks I'd still love to know what size I am and treat myself to some pretty bras and not just black/white/nude ones i'm currently wearing. Like you say though, I wont go mad as I know they will continue changing for months to come xx

Sorry to be a little immature, but I was looking to see who your surgeon was as you said you were put in underwired bras from the start....
Is his name actually Mehboob? If it is that got to be the best name for a breast augmentation surgeon ever

Maria has given great advise here! You may find that you differ in sizes in different brands etc, so it may be helpful for the fitter to tell you what you're looking for so you know in the future yourself x
