2 1/2 weeks
My boobies are still quite sore, I would say more tender than they have been, though i might just be noticing more as I thought it would be getting better by now. I am putting it down to numbness un-numbing, but wanted to check if everyone else was still quite tight and tender at this point???

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
I was for sure! It was hard going back to work and moving around too much was hard. Even at 3 weeks post op it's been a little tough but it's getting better:)
I think you will be OK:)) We all heal at different rates...

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
The nerves healing can make your boobs feel ultra sensitive and sometimes sore too, pins and needles, a feeling of being sunburned, short stabbing pains, a tingling all these and more can make your boobs feel very uncomfortable babe. Good news is that is its all normal and does pass.
Ice packs help hun. If you don't have ice packs then frozen rice/peas/corn or anything you want really will do to place over the tops of your boobs to give you some relief Lian. Xx

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
I know what you mean Lian. It can be nerve wracking when you get any pain at all and you don't know what it is can't it. But coming on here and knowing there's someone at hand to always answer your questions is such a comfort isn't it.
I really don't know what I'd have done without this place throughout my recovery and it's always nice when we read others feeling exactly the same. xx

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
Very much so! While I didn't suffer from the feeling of my boobies bursting like I did early on they were still very tender (especially my nips, they felt raw!!!). Even now I'll get the odd twinge from my nerves healing.
Just be patient with it, as days go by they're less and less uncomfortable! x

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
Its strange but as time goes on im in more pain that I was in the beginning!! I have a sore left boob and I dont know if its where the drain was but it hurts from the top all the way down the outside to just about where the drain came out. Even the lightest touch kills!! But im a woman so I won't moan about it!!

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
Lol cazalino. I get more pain as time goes on but I'm trying to put it down to numb areas that are becoming unnumb.
It's actually my ribs that are in he most pain the last few days. If I over stretch I get a pulling in my ribs on the left hand side. It's got so painful I've gone back to pillow castle. I has helped but by last night I had a very definite area by my ribs that was extremely painful to touch. It felt Less painful this morning but as the day is wearing on its getting gradually more painful again. Has anyone experienced this before or has any theories to what it might be??

This Tuesday will be 4 weeks post op for me and I STill get pulling sensations when I stretch too much, still get morning boob, still have a little heaviness in the chest and still get little aches and pains here and there. But nothing that i can't tolerate. We all recover differently. If younhave any concerns contact the office that did your surgery. But i think you will be Alright

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
It's definitely not unbearable or anything I would contact anyone about. I'm guessing it must be muscle related or it wouldn't get better after resting. Thanks for replying mssapri x
Bouncy, it is really nothing to be worried about chickadee x

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
Lian,
I am 3 weeks PO tomorrow and I'm having exactly the same pain experience as you. My boobs are gradually getting more tender, feels kind of like bruising but there isn't any you can see, and increasingly sore tender nipples.
My bras get more uncomfortable through the day, but also think its just the nerves getting better and signalling bruising that's always been there and the skin and tissues stretching as the implants settle.
Not a good feeling, but also glad we have the perspective of everyone here to reassure its not anything going wrong.
My surgeon seems to think they will feel normal at 6 weeks, so counting down to that! Lol
Hope it settles down for you soon hun xx

Re: 2 1/2 weeks
Hiya nikki, I'm 5 weeks PO now and it's a lot better. I do think that areas that were numb are getting more feeling back so you are aware of the soreness more as time goes on.
I still get some twinges every now and again, but I hear you can still get twinges 12 months plus as the nerves heal.
I wouldn't say my boobs are close to feeling 'normal' yet, but I guess it will come with time, and they are getting better every week :D
