4 weeks on & I'm still a worrier!
Hi girls
So will have had my boobs for 4 weeks on Wednesday how time flys I can barely remember what I was like before!
I'm going back to work on Wednesday. I feel fine apart from the fact that I over analyse any tiny twinge or sensation I may have! I've had really sensitive nipples which are still feeling a bit sore after being irritated by my bra & my righty still feels a little bit sore under my arm. Doesn't stop me doing anything, just sometimes feels a bit stretched/achy especially when I wake up!
Think I've just waited so long for them now they are finally here I'm so worried something will go wrong!
Sorry to sound like a moaner. But my poor mum & friends are sick of me discussing anything boob related!

Hey RedDolly! Congrats on your additions! (Don't remember if I've congratulated you before!)
I'm sure once I reach 4 weeks post-op I'll also still be a worrier! Hubby says I worry too much, so I don't think that'll change even after 1 year post-op!
Maybe going back to work will do you good, it'll distract you from worrying or over-analysing every ache and twinge! You've been doing fine, and I'm sure your boobies will continue to keep looking great! Keep enjoying them hun! xx

Hi RedDolly, you sound like me ;-)
I worry about everything and always overanalyse every detail. I agree with Icecream, going to work will distract you from focusing on your and you will feel better in no time.
Enjoy your weekend xx

You're not moaning RedDolly I think the majority of us tend to over analyse our boobs. Although we're aware that our boobs will be swollen initially after a BA, I don't think any of us are prepared for the imperfections that arise throughout our recovery and it can be very upsetting at times, But those imperfections do eventually iron themselves out. 4 Weeks post-op is nothing in terms of your new boobs healing, infact you're still right at the start of your recovery!
Given time and I'm talking MONTHS here, your boobs will settle hun. Getting your life back to normality will be really good, it'll take your attention away from your boobs (well kinda haha!) and get out of feeling like a 'patient' back to being just 'you'
Do remember though that although your boobs may feel better not to over stretch just yet or do any heavy lifting for at least another couple of weeks. Keep your boobs well supported and eat well to promote good healing and your boobs will do the rest for you to give you a lovely look. xx

Thanks everyone Your right think once I get back to work I'll stop thinking about it as much. I've had 4 weeks off, I work as cabin crew so alot of lifting & pulling carts. Luckily I've got a friend flying with me on Wednesday so she's going to do the heavy stuff for me!
Oh I don't know what I'd do without this forum. I'd be a nervous wreck! Haha it's just when you've waited so long you worry because you want everything to go to plan. Thank you all for your reassuring comments :-) really does help to hear from people who know how you feel.
And cookie you are like my voice of reason! Xxx
