Incision pain Empty Incision pain

Post by icecream 9th August 2012, 11:36 pm

Hi ladies. Is it normal for the incision part to throb with pain 1 week post-op? I don't see any redness (it's still covered up w/ plaster) and nothing seems to be leaking! Could it be my bra band size is too small (although I've gone up 2 sizes already) i can feel the ache come and go but it's not a completely terrible kind of pain? Is this normal or sold i be worried? shrug xx

It's nothing to be worried about at all icecream. The most likely cause is due to the nerves healing. This isn't a particularly pleasant sensation but it's a good sign that all is healing as it should do sweetheart. xx

It's 3:50am here in Dubai and I'm up googling about this silly pain! I woke up worrying about it and can't seem to go back to sleep! It literally haunted me in my sleep! Screwy

I'm tempted to wake up the hubby (only coz I can't stand being awake alone) but I don't think he'd be too impressed w/ me.

Thanks for the reply cookie! Hopefully I'll be able to go back to sleep now (yah right) Shocked

Xx

I still get little searing pains into my scar bit now , it's apparently just the nerves firing a new pathway to each other , I found that ice helps ! Just a wee 5minutes blast does the trick
