PLEASE help
Hi girls:) I am 16 days post op today, I went under the muscle. I am finding the heaviness in my chest to be really uncomfortable. I have been back at work the last two days and it was hard, reaching for stuff, bending over and being out of my chair for too long wears me out! I even called in sick today. Do you think it is just my body getting used to the implants? I am tiny with a thin chest and little breast tissue. I am starting to worry that my body can't handle the implants. I really hope this will pass, please help..

Re: PLEASE help
You'll be fine babe your body is just taking a little extra time to recover hun.
If you have any holidays left that you could use, now might be a good time to use them if you'd rather not go on the sick. An extra week seems so little but it really does go a long way in your healing babe. There's nothing at all wrong with how you're recovering. We're each different and our bodies will all heal in their own good time. xx

Hey mssaprl9! Sorry to hear you're still having a hard time! I am 1 week post-op today and still feel sore, bruised, and stiff! Not as much as the day after the op of course, but the pain and aches are still definitely there! Too add to it, my nipples are extra sensitive and I'm starting to feel all these other weird tingling sensations, sharp pains, and prickling feeling in between my boobs! When i have to go out to the shops for a quick grocery stop, i too get tired quickly and my chest start to feel heavy! I can't wait to get back home and have a lie in bed!
I believe 16 days is still in the early healing stages! Easier said than done, I hope you start to feel better as each day passes! xx

Thank you!:) I had all those pains too and the sensitive nipples are the worst! The being tired easily will pass after about 10 days. I def feel better than I did at 1 week post op though. It's just this tightness in my chest is almost unbearable if I'm up for too long.

Re: PLEASE help
It takes a lot out of you having an operation hun, it will get easier though as your body heals. Try not to compare your own recovery time to other people's, and if you feel like you need extra time off work then take it. Try to avoid doing any unnecessary stretching or lifting to give your body an extra chance to heal. x

Re: PLEASE help
I am pretty small and now 25 days post op. i had unders too 320s megan alergan tear drop shaped ones so almost the same as you i think. Went from a cup now wearing d cup sports bra. but i havent had any pain as such just aching in the first two weeks but have to say i now feel pretty good and am fairly mobile again. I have 3 kids though so maybe that helps? ie my skin and body have already been stretched out of shape so skin is more maleable and takes easier to the op. My surgeon said women who have had children take the whole op far easier than younger girls. I dont know if thats the problem? In which case, it will pass. Just harder on a young body...

Yeah that's what my surgeon said in one of my first post op appointments, that it's because Im young and never had kids. Although, I'm not that young (33).
