Hello ladies! Newbie here!

I'm so glad I found this gem of a site!

I'm having my op this Thursday (Aug 1)! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time!

I just have a quick question regarding sport bras! I don't own a single pair so I have some shopping to do! My doctor said to buy sports bra the size I am now (34B). I'm gettting 400/425cc done. I'm not sure if all of that will fit into a 34B. If it does fit, it will be a tight one! Is that what it's supposed to be? Is the sports bra supposed to squish them flat?

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I don't want to spend so much on sports bra then end up buying what I'm not supposed to!

Good luck for Thursday, U must b getting excited.
Ur sports bra should fit U comfortably so I would buy a 34D, 34DD and 34E then U can wear the one that fits U best and return the others.

Sorry, I'm not sure of some of the terms used on here, but I'm guessing you're talking about under or over the muscle? Please correct me if I'm wrong..

I'm having mine done under the muscle. I told my doctor I want to be a full C or D and he said D would be better for my frame. He'll be bringing 400cc and 425cc with him and he'll decide which is better.

I'm hoping he'll pick the bigger but I can't imagine 25cc being that big of a difference anyway! After reading some of the posts on here, will I wish I had gone bigger than 425cc, argh... I hope I don't coz then it'll be too late!

I would re check with your surgeon as to what he wants you to buy, it may be he meant to band size not the cup size you wear now. But you do have to follow your surgeons instructions to the letter as part of your healing. Give them a ring and check so that you can buy exactly what you need.

Misf1 is right hun, it's best to check what your surgeon recommends for you as all us girlies will have been given slightly different advice.

As for worrying about size, it is such a tricky decision! Have you shown your surgeon a picture of the sort of look you're going for? This will be the best way to make sure you and your surgeon are on the same page with what you want to achieve. He's seen a lot of girls of a lot of different shapes and sizes so he'll be the best to judge the right size implant for you. Good luck! What size bra to buy preop? 48411

My op is on Thursday, 2nd Aug! Got a bit confused coz I've been sending out e-invites for a dinner party we're having which is on 1st aug so that date's been stuck in my head! Oops!
