bottoming out?
The incision on 1 of my breasts doesn't sit in the crease it sits a little bit further up on the breast but the other 1 sits in the crease the incisions as far as I can tell are symetrical but I can see that the implant on the breast I'm concerned about sits a little bits lower than the other 1 and I can feel the bottom of the implant under the incision. What do you think? Xx

Re: bottoming out?
I wouldn't worry just yet Twinkle, sometimes they can look a little odd or unsymmetrical early PO. Give them time to settle and mention it to your PS when you next go for a check up. X

Re: bottoming out?
Its not going to go back up though is it so my incision will never sit in the crease all I can do is hope it doesn't go any further down xx

Re: bottoming out?
It probaby will sit in the crease eventually, hard to believe when the scars are still fresh and big, but they shrink and the skin on your breast will stop stretching in a few months time, this is when you will notice the difference in where the scars sit.
Re: bottoming out?
mine are not in the crease but i dont feel worried about that, one scar is slightly keyloid to the other, which makes me wana chuck up when i feel it, but sod it, was worth it to get bigger knockers!! still waiting for them to grow though xx lol
Re: bottoming out?
I noticed the same thing about one of mine yesterday. Freaked me out cos I had taken off my sports bra and it felt like the implant had slipped down just beneath the scar.
I already asked my ps why my scars are not right in the crease (a crease which I no longer have!) but he said it would all work out once gravity took effect and the implants settled and I would then get a crease he reckons the scars will then sit under my boob out of sight!
From friends who have had this done, after a couple years those scars really fade away to nothing so try not to worry about them x

My surgeon told me in the consultation that he cuts above the crease so that bras don't irritate the wound

They will eventually sit in the crease Lian the whole point of the scar sitting in the breast crease is to make them as inconspicuous as possible. If they were to remain above the crease line and visible this totally defeats the possibility of you achieving a natural look.
At first your scars may look above the crease line, but as the breast naturally settles into position, the scar drops down into the crease line and this is when so many of us suffer irritation from the bands on our scars lovely. xx
Re: bottoming out?
Well that is very clever indeed! I assumed they would just stay where he put them as he didn't mention them dropping, but makes sense now you mention it x
