Heath or Highgate
Hi. I've been given some dates for my BA, one is at the Heath and one is at Highgate.
If you had your surgery at either of these, could you let me know how you found it? Might help me to decide on which date to go for. If you stayed overnight, were you well looked after? Did you have your own room,- did it have a TV? What was the food like? Was parking fairly easy?
Thanks very much.

Hey lovely,
I was in the Heath, it was lovely, but limited parking. I was a day case, so I was in a shared room. There should be more info in my BA story

Hiya i went to Highgate for an overnight stay. I found it great, i was well looked after. They gave me a buzzer thing and i could buzz when i needed something. I had my own room with en-suite and Sky TV. They had a good choice of meals but i didnt feel like much so i just had jam on toast all the time lol it was lovely tho. Car park is not huge but my bf and dad stayed in a nearby hotel x

I agree actually. I saw the girl next to me go down first, then she came back and wasn't crying or anything so I thought she must have been fine... I will too!

Re: Heath or Highgate
i stayed at the heath they were brilliant.i asked to share a room with my dads girlfriend as we both were getting our ba's together.if you ask your pa im sure they can email through to say you want your own room as we asked if we could share just us 2 and thats what we got.but you should ask them sooner rather than later otherwise someone else might of already asked.even if you dont have your own room you still get curtains round your bed so it will be privacy anyway.they looked after us great i had a buzzer and i had to buz it when i needed something as i had unders so i couldent really do alot.the food was really nice and we did have a plazma on the wall with free view.the car park was small but you could park on the road but think you had to pay for that.hope i helped hun x

Re: Heath or Highgate
thanks ladies, sounds like they are both equally good. Will have to see which week i can book off work and that will determine which hospital i go to.

Looks like i will be going to the Highgate, purely because the other date i have lots going on and can't make it.
Can anyone recommend a nearby hotel that also has on site parking facilities?
Thanks
