New Saga!
well to everyone whos been keeping tabs, I was meant to have my surgery tomorrow (keep thinkin I should be at hotel by now having my big meal etc etc!!) but alas its not meant to be.
The coordinator called me today, very much on my side about this being a total mess etc and how it should have been sorted out long before now. She said she was with a surgeon from ENT all morning and thats why she took so long to call. *tears hair out* so basically I could have seen him and got the all clear and made my way happily down to Manchester for my op as scheduled!
They have said they will sort my hotel fees that I lost money on and are talking to their management etc etc about how this shouldnt have happened etc.
I need to see an ENT specialist in Newcastle, so will be calling my GP first thing on monday however since its a private matter and not NHS I imagine they will want to charge me for a referral letter to ENT, then to go private I rang spire and it can range between £150-300 just for a consult!! shock!!! Just to look down my throat with a mirror and say "yep you can be anaesthetised"
If this happens then my op can be carried out on 5th August, so please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me, and if any of you know of any private ENT doctors in the Newcastle/Gateshead/Durham area please let me know!!!
Im so worn down with this its no fun anymore!!!

Jen i feel so bad for you. I know there is the school of thought that everything happens for a reason but that probably is no consolation for you. I hope you get this sorted out asap. Sending you a big hug keep us posted xx

Re: New Saga!
thank you. Im so annoyed tonight because the more I think a bout it the more I think I could have seen the ENT today who my coordinator worked with all morning, and still had my op tomorro. trying to think they may have already given my slot away though to cheer me up to no avail!
My Dad has even offered to take me to wherever this ENT specialist normally works be it Manchester, Leeds or anywhere to see if he will see me but my coordinator isnt back in until wednesday so I have no options apart from visiting the GP until then.
Bit worried about seeing a GP as I cant imagine them being too keen to help me since its a private matter and not NHS. Not sure I can cope with much more stress! Ill be bald in no time! xx

Oh bless you. I suppose the only thing is to focus on is that you WILL have your new boobies and that they will have been worth the wait xx
