Size help!
Hi ladies,
I'm booked for my ba in a month but am still a little concerned about size and placement. I'm currently a 34b, no kids so quite perky just a bit small. I told my ps that I only want a natural look and a full C to give me a bit more confidence in my appearance. He's said a max of 275cc as any bigger will look unnatural and says textured overs are my best option.
Do you think I'll get that size, as everyone on here seems to have much bigger implants unless they are tiny?! I'm 5'5" and around 133 lbs so definitely not that small. I don't want to go through all this pain and be disappointed. And scared about capsular contracture too, but he says textured help with this.
Am really confused, any advice?
Thanks

Re: Size help!
Its really hard for anyone to say what size implants will make your bra size, 2 women can have same implant size and come out different bra sizes ! If you are really worried you wont be big enough book another consultation with your surgeon and tell him your worries. He is right though when he says textured implants are less likely to get c c but it can still happen. xx

As 2nd time lucky says it's really difficult to predict what bra size you'll end up as implants take differently to different people. At the end of the day, your surgeon knows best as he deals with this situation every single day! If you are worried though its best to give him a ring and be extra special sure he knows exactly what you're looking for. Good luck hun xx

I'm 5'6'', 132lbs, was 32c, so similar stats to you. I have 240cc textured implants, and am very happy, wouldn't want to be any bigger. However, we're all different, you're best off showing your ps pictures of what you'd like and wouldn't like xxx

Re: Size help!
Thanks for that, I had 2 consultations and both said similar sizes so I guess I have to trust their experience.
The pics I took in apparently had too wide implants and a bit of side boob in his opinion so I think I'm getting higher profile ones to make them narrow enough for my chest size.
One said overs and one said unders tho so no help there tho, lol, but as I'm quite active and go to the gym so have string muscles I'm thinking overs. And hopefully less pain and recovery time than unders. Didn't realise how much there was to choose til I really got into looking on the net

It is really hard to predict the size after ba as we are alls so different, I think if you are concerned Definatley bring this up with your surgeon I'm sure he will be happy to sit down and discuss further, you do have a lower chance of getting cc with textured implants but it can still happen x

Re: Size help!
If you want to be a C and your surgeon has said this is the size that will do it he is more than likely right. Yes with textured implants you are less likely to have cc but it can still happen xx

Re: Size help!
I got overs for the same reason. I have very strong pec muscles, I wanted to avoid muscle distortion, and didn't want to alter my workout regime in any way. If you go too big with overs and you don't have a lot of fat (athletic body) they will look fake. This is why my ps wouldn't give me any bigger than 240cc even though my frame could have handled it. I wanted a natural look, overs and I have little fat. It's a tricky combination, but with the right surgeon who respects your anatomy and lifestyle it's totally doable xxx

Re: Size help!
Thanks ladies.
Roxanne, yours look great in your avi so if I end up like that I'll be very happy :)
Did you experience any issues going back to exercising with overs? I know it takes time so you don't do any damage but hopefully it doesn't restrict what you can do too much cos I eat too much to avoid the gum for too long! Haha x

Re: Size help!
Thanks, I'm very happy
I started exercising at six weeks on my ps's advice, but started slowly just to be on the safe side. I haven't had any issues at all, I can do press-ups and flyes, basically any exercises that isolate the chest without any problem at all. I haven't lost any strength, don't feel the implants move, and have no muscle distortion, I'm so glad I went with overs even though it limited how large I could go while still looking natural. The trade-off was well worth it for me. I'm with you, I love to eat too much to go without exercise, lol! xxx

I think you'll definately achieve your goal hun, possibly a little more With you being a B cup to start so already having a bit of boobage to start with and being perky still you'll have enough breast tissue to cover the implant so your surgeons suggestion of having overs was probably the right one for you babe, also with you already having that breast tissue, this is the cushion that going to help you achieve a larger bust size, so for someone else with little or no breast tissue to start with they'd need a larger implant to help them achieve the same size as yourself, if you understand what I'm saying.

We're ALL at risk of capsular contracture hun and this can happen anytime throughout our time with implants and is a risk we all take. The risks are reduced with textured implants hun but they are still there. For me though Nikki, having my lovely boobs far outweighs the risks of getting CC and if I am unlucky, I'll just have to deal with it... You have to consider for yourself Nikki, if your want for your boobs outweighs the risks for 'you' though. xx
