The reverse starfish!!?? :) lolol
I must admit im a belly sleeper, or at least at the min i am as i dont have to worry about my very soft post baby boobs getting in the way!! :)
So my fav sleeping position much to the annoyance of my husband is on my belly pretty much suffocating myself with my arms and legs sprawled everywhere!!! :)
My husband is long suffering bt dont feel sorry for him he's a horrific snorer!!!
How did you ladies get on after your ba after the pain had gone and you were no longer recising in your pillow castle/armchair for 8 hrs a night?
Will i ever be able to sleep on my belly again or will it be too uncomfortable with actual boobs???
Also I PAY FOR MY BA NXT THUR!!! YAAAAAY ME!!!! :)

Re: The reverse starfish!!?? :) lolol
As soon as I had the all clear from the nurse to ditch the pillow castle I was straight on my side (with a little help easing into the position with a pillow behind me).
I've never been a belly sleeper but I can lye on my belly fairly comfortable. I remember seeing somebody suggest putting a pillow somewhere (not sure where lol) to help make it more comfortable... hopefully a belly sleeper will elaborate on this for you.
Generally listen to your body, if you have the all clear to sleep how you want and its comfortable (or you've adjusted things to make it comfortable) then there shouldn't be a problem... your body will tell you if it doesn't like it :) x

Can't be much help to you guys as I'm only 15 days post op, but I was a foetal position sleeper pre-op and am back to my normal sleeping position already!
Re: The reverse starfish!!?? :) lolol
I'm usually a half side/half front sleeper and I really really hate sleeping on my back - it's the one thing I'm dreading. I've already bought a V pillow to try and get into the habit of sleeping sat up but I found it less comfortable than my usual pile of pillows. So my boyfriend's pinched it as he's post hip surgery right now. At least someone's getting use out of it!

Hey lovely, as soon as I got the all clear I went back on my side, but I kept a pillow either side of me with my knees straddling the one in front so I didn't squash my boobies.
As soon as the discomfort disappeared I was back on my side and now it's like before I had my BA.
It probably took about 4 weeks in total. I'd imagine it'd be the same for you, maybe a little bit longer if you're lying on your front ;) xx

I sleep on my tummy most of the time and have only just started sleeping that way again in the last couple of weeks. It feels fine but I always wear a bra and to be honest I did all the 2 yrs of my previous ba.xx

I'm a belly sleeper and obviously I'm back there now but I think as my implants are bigger it can be a bit uncomfortable to this day, nothing major but not the same pre-op but I now sleep half side half belly type of way lol I think by listening to your body you will know what's comfortable and when your ready to return to your stomach, but it may not be for some weeks or possibly months.

I've always been a belly sleeper, past few weeks I'm back on my belly again yet its not that cumfy coz always thinking about weight on my boobs iI do wear a bra to bed and I now use 2 pillows for my head and a thin pillow just below my boobs so they literally just rest on the bed and it's cumfy for me that way.
