Spotty chest...
I've just noticed this morning some lovely red blotchy spots around the top of my bobbies.....not good. I always have flare ups of acne but my face is v clear at the moment, it's just my chest and I don't know what I can do to sort them out,esp as the wedding is a month tomorrow....

I've heard this can be quite common early on PO hun, not sure how far you are through your journey but I've heard a lot of girl's say they find they're more spotty/greasy. It should clear up soon maybe try concealer if you're concerned but keep it away from your incisions x

Hi hun ,it could be from where your skin has been a bit stretched by your new boobies. I had some red marks but they went after a few days. Hope you are feeling well apart from that xx

Re: Spotty chest...
I don't suffer from spots at all really, get the odd one or two. But I got a really spotty chest once I had them done? God knows why!? I still have a few on my chest that pop up now and that's 4 months down the line. Don't want to be discouraging but just giving you my experience of my spotty chest. Just look after your chest as you would your face and hopefully they will calm down. I think mine got spotty because they were wrapped away so any sweat was kept on my skin...? Hope they clear up soon though xx

Hiya,
I had spotty & greasy skin for ages PO...and I still have the odd breakout even now. Its a common after efect of the surgery unfortunatley. Have you tried some antibacterial wipes, like tea tree? x

Re: Spotty chest...
Hi,
I don't have spots but I do have lots and lots of little tiny pimples on my chest intermingled with red blotchy skin and its itchy as hell!!
I'm guessing its a lot to do with the body's temperature control? The skin on the chest isn't allowed to breath properly due to tight sports bra and wound dressings whilst internally the healing process will be creating a fair amount of heat. Add that to the skin being stretched and its probably a good sign that the healing process is happening.

Re: Spotty chest...
Hey Tash, for pimples/threatening lumps I swear by Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. It's expensive, but my tube has lasted me about four years so worth the investment. It works a treat on spots, it either gets rid of them completely or makes them come to a neat head so you can get rid without scarring. its also moisturising so you don't get the flakeyness afterwards. Also doubles up as lip balm/gloss, eyebrow definer, cheek highlighter. Big recommend (hmm they should employ me!)
Best of luck with your wedding, you must be soooo excited!! xxx

Re: Spotty chest...
I had the same thing a couple day after my op. I used a little hydrocautisone cream on it, my PS said he would write me a script for it - so if it's really bad you can ask him for one, but my Dad already had a tub at home, so I used some of his and it cleared up in about 2 days.
My PS told me it was a common reaction, so I wouldn't worry too much. If it doesn't clear up by itself in a week, try and get a script for the cream, and you'll be good as new by wedding day
