Am I the only one..
Who still feels a bit down about the size of their boobs? I am just over 4 weeks post op, all I see is my boobs getting smaller and it's really getting to me. I wouldn't go as far as having another re op due to the size but it doesn't stop me from wishing they were bigger.
Sorry to put a downer on the forum

Re: Am I the only one..
You're not the only one hun I'm constantly having to tell boobie greed to do one lol.
At 4 weeks I'm guessing you're still in sports bra's? These do absolutely NOTHING for our new boobies as they're designed for support and they therefore compact our boobs and keep them very restricted.
Once you're able to wear wired and pretty bra's you'll find a whole new you... you'll be able to dress them up as much as you like and there's a bra for everything!
They look fab in your avi and 460cc is a very good sized implant, so maybe have a look at some pre op pics to help get things into perspective because you have a great pair. x

Re: Am I the only one..
I'm sure when you are able to get into underwire push up bras you'll feel much better. Also they wont be getting any smaller, it's just the implant will be moving to the bottom of your breast, rather than being under your chin, which when you look down will make them appear smaller to you.
Re: Am I the only one..
Now LadyV you sit down and listen to me (this is the mum speech !) I have seen your pictrail and they are NOT small. I think you are suffering the boobie blues. You are too early in your b a to expect to see the final result. Now chin up and be patient

This is will probably be paramount to how you're feeling right now LadyV Whilst suffering the boobie blues it does completely distort your views and how you feel about your new boobs.
At the stage you're at in your healing lovely, you start losing the full upper pole you once had early post-op, which as the implant drops and settles, starts to fill out the lower pole of your breasts and its often during this time women feel their boobs have gotten smaller and when going through the boobie blues, this is magnified ten fold!
I PROMISE you, your boobs have not gone smaller and I know that when you have your first bra fitting after getting the all clear from your surgeon and placing your new boobs in some gorgeous feminine lingerie after wearing sportsbras for so long, your whole mindset will change and you'll find a new love love for you boobs LadyV, because how they look now in sportsbras is NOTHING like how they're gonna look when you're in pretty wired bras. xx
Re: Am I the only one..
Your avi looks amazing honey (I'd still like to take a peek at your picture trail if you'd be happy for me too?) I think you look boobtastic and it is just a case of those pesky blues xxx
I get a bit upset that I didn't have more tissue so I couldn't go any bigger than 240... But everyone who has actually seen them says "wow they look big!" so it must be in our heads xxx

What you are feeling is very normal babe. I know we always say 'give it time' and its probs very frustrating to hear that time and again, but it really is true! *hugs* xxx

Re: Am I the only one..
This feeling is very normal and sometimes after months have gone by, many ladies still feel dissatisfied.
Im not just saying this but your picture looks beautiful.
Its early days yet and your breast are gonna go through many changes before the final result.
Lastly, I do know how you feel and it is a horrible feeling. We all know how you feel and you are not alone.

Re: Am I the only one..
Sorry to hear you're feeling down! From what I can see in your avi you look fab!
I'm suffering from the boobie blues too - when I tried on my first bra (after the surgical one I came out of the op in) I literally burst into tears! I think because I'd been wearing hugely padded bras for so long, it felt like that was the size of my actual boobs, but I have to keep reminding myself that now this is all me!

Re: Am I the only one..
Thank you mariaelaina.
Your twins look big and boobalicious in your pic!! I would be more than happy with those bad boys ha ha but I suppose everyone see's their selves differently to others? May be we are being to hard on ourselves! I think I expected mine to be quite big in my face but they are just normal size I think. Ah well anything is better than the old fried eggs I suppose! xx
