Bra bargain
Hi Girls
Just been searching the web looking at possible bras to wear post surgery. Just found the Z bra on offer at £4.99! See link [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Dont know how good it is as Ive only just started looking, but have seen some posts that suggest it is a good one. Plus it normally retails at around £30.

Re: Bra bargain
seeing as you've started a bra thread dweeby hope you dont mind if I ask a couple of bra questions!
Are we only supposed to wear the sposrts bras that are the same style as Asda/Tesco ones etc? or are the cropped ones ok too?
And has anyone found one that looks nice under clothes at all? I think so far this is the nicest that I've found

Re: Bra bargain
You want it all Rachel Boobs...... and a lacy bra!!
Dont think they exist...Sorry!!
You can wear any sports bra that supports your boobs enough. Think they should be at least a level 3 support.
The easiest one to wear for me was the newish Shock Absorber multi way one. Not pretty but nicer than some ..no cups, breathable, supportive and not too high at the front. I just had a look at the one you posted...I like it. Good Luck, Hope you are doing well and happy with results. xx

This is the link for the bras I have Rachel!! I have one in black and One skin colour. You can get them from many places figleaves.com/Debenhams etc. They are easier than others I had to hide under clothes and dont give a squashed look to the boobs. I guess it is trial and error the ones CB has look good too I wear them for now for physio/gym.
Oh!! Movable boobs...soo early..Lucky you And your OH I guess .....if you are ready for sharing

Re: Bra bargain
Thanks Mia! I think I'll get one of those too, I can definitely wear that one later at the gym if I ever get there! I love that you can wear the straps in different ways with that one too, and they don't look really wide either?
Shame they dont sell that style at Debenhams, I could have got it at the same time as I go to La Senza, but will order it tomorrow once I decide what size I am!
Anyone know if the sizing of bras at La Senza is average? or are their cups smaller than most other shops? What I mean is if you measure in most shops as a D would that be the same at La Senza because I thought I read somewhere you'd need the next size up? x

Re: Bra bargain
Sorry Mia, I mean I just checked on line and they dont do that one at Debenhams there, although they may do in the shop I suppose!
I'm hoping by the time OH gets home on 3rd June I'll feel a little more like sharing, if he's nice, seeing as he bought them anyway

Re: Bra bargain
I got mine from Debenhams in London 'Oxford Street' The day before my op. I think you should try them on ...I think they could be a bit on the small side!! I believe La Senza is the same. I am sure someone will come along to clarify. Happy shopping!!!
P.S. Bra extenders are a good option too I think (La Senza..E.Bay)

Re: Bra bargain
Hey girls,
I have the one Mia has ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] )
Thay sell them at JJB Sports too.
I tried 5 different types...Asda, Tesco, 2 diff styles from M&S and that Shock Absorber one. I found that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is the most supportive and comfortable. It's not the easiest to hide but is fantastic.

Re: Bra bargain
OOoh lovely lots of bra comments and suggestions, shame the Z bra bargain was as great as it looked. Im now completely obsessed with trying to work out what size implants I need to get me to around a C cup, what sports bra to put them in and the differences between CCs and grams!! I havent even seen my consultant yet...roll on Tuesday, than I can do some bra browsing LOL.

Re: Bra bargain
I invested in a Z bra and paid the £30 for one, I also bought some asda ones, cause I wanted more than one as it has to be worn for 6 weeks. I do reccomend them and I think I may also invest in a M&S bra as well. I did find the Z bra very good for support, bit better than the others but that might just be me. On day 4 after the op I put the Z bra on and it held them firmly in place which was great as I felt they were going to drop off. :) but I did have slightly larger implants so maybe they need more support.
Re: Bra bargain
I found the Tesco/Asda/Matalan very floppy. Although, did had 395cc implants so probably needed a lot more support than these bras gave.
So, out of desperation as my surgical bra was like a boa constrictor, I got these 2 little beauties from M & S....
The sexy one (well, as sexy as you can get with a fully supportive bra)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The functional one
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I'm now at the stage where I can shop around for pretty underwear but nothing compares to these 2 for comfort, support and fit !!!
