My nerves are getting really bad now and i cant sleep, All i do is dream about it cant believe its 5 days away now xxx

I suppose it is normal to be worried, after all we all want it so much! I will be nervous the day before I think, I got myself all worked up on the morning of my pre-op!

1 week tomorrow!! Yikes!! I have just got back from a weekend away and its just dawned on me the next bag i pack will be my boobie hospital bag! yipee

Shall we do a little list of stuff we need to pack and things for after to see if we have forgoten anything? xx

So far I have a pillow and 4 bras,I pod,book and some mints for after. Pammie I bet your buzzing,I hope the next 2 weeks go quickly

I have a v pillow, 8 various sports bras, button up night dress, zip up hoodie, leggings ( heard jeans r tricky after!) Heat and ice packs, senacot for constipation and piercing retainers.
I'm gonna get sanitary towels incase my bra band rubs heard they r good, snacks.... Anyone think of anything else?
I am buzzing huni can't wait. Xxx

hey ladies my nurse at the pre op said a over sized mans shirt is a great thing to go home in as it has wider arms so easy to get on with lots of room and buttons up at the front. I thought i would share as apparently its a big hit plus leggings,, Its really funny as i have to just take my dressing gown slippers a shirt and leggings they said i wont need training bra's until i go back as ill be all wrapped up in bandages... i have yet to get my V pillow and ice packs leaving it a bit late im still in shock that its 3 days time xxx

hey hun im all over the place not sleeping great cause of the excitement and the nerves but still getting enough to get through the day which is ok..

My op should have been the 16th but they changed it! I'm feeling ok last night at work tonight for two weeks then I'm gonna do crazy housework till monday to make sure everything is spotless for when i get back from hospital xx

ah so we would have gone in the same day! That would have been so good, i did all my house work today, Tomorrow going to change all my bedding ready, Do more house work then pack my kids stuff to drop them off to my sister in laws for a few nights. I feel sick to the pit of my stomach! Took some laxatives tonight as well, So i think im ready!?!? seeing stars

I'm waiting till the number of sleeps before is a single figure them I'm going to start driving everyone crazy with excitement,I'm only 11 sleeps till op at the moment. You all ready to go Pammie?

I know can't believe its only 5 days now! Since my ticker went to days it has flown by! Thanks 2nd time lucky I'm so excited but still really scared. I think I'm all ready my bag is packed just need to do my housework, dye my hair and do a big food shop then I'm ready to head to London!! Still haven't had my addmission time yet should get it Friday or sat.
11 days will fly by zthomas are u all prepared? Good luck for tomorrow princess Lisa your day has finally arrived Hug

I can't believe how quickly its going either!

I have spent so long wishing the weeks away and now they are whizzing by!!

So Pammie, your all packed! I don't need much, I'm only a day case so I'll wear a suitable outfit that can be worn home also and I need some slippers to walk to down for the op. I'm going to leave a pillow in the car for coming home (got that tip off here) I'm going to take a little make up incase I look like death after the GA! and some fruit and sweets just incase I'm peckish. Oh, and my macom, can't forget that!

They provide gown and dressing gown to cover my lovely paper knickers from behind! Feel a bit strange not having much to take.

Its seeming real now! xx

Well they don't even have to be slippers, the nurse on my pre op said flip flops would do! It's only to walk to the theatre in.

I took flip flops but as the stockings went over my feet they gave me slippers x

Oh right, I had birkenstocks on so they didn't have the toe post. She just looked at them and said that they would be fine.

I'm going to get some new slippers though I think why I don't need to buy much else!
