i''m going to go through with it!!
Hi, i've had a funny week. As some of you know i had previously booked for beginning of April then got scared and cancelled. Thought i'd made the right decision and really didn't think about it for a while. Then last weekend, my husband woke up and said he had had a dream in which i had had a BA, after he told me, i said that's weird because only the day before i had started thinking about it too!!!
So i've spent the last week thinking shall i go for it? or still walk away from it?
I've weighed up the pros and cons and decided i'm going to phone transform on Tuesday and arrange to see the pc.
Life's too short to keep worrying.

Wow! Congrats lovely, it seems your OH is going to be supportive of you which is just brilliant.
Will you book with the same surgeon?

Congratulations. Having a BA is a huge commitment and decision and I am pleased that you took the time to rethink it. I have been thinking about having it for like five years and every now and again I think about not having it but I soon realise why I want it.
It does sound like your OH is going be very supportive.

Congratulations, you did the right thing cancelling if you had doubts and at least now you know you've thought it through and the time is right for you. I thought about it seriously for the last 3 1/2 years and then suddenly I knew the time was right to start looking to go ahead. Exciting times ahead now your journey starts xx

Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
That's great, I think you kind of suddenly know when you want to go through with it. I always felt a bit sad when i saw my post-kids / breastfeeding boobies and knew I wanted to do something about it - it is a big scary thing but since i met someone who'd had it done somehow it didn't seem so scary anymore..
I was a bag of nerves till my 2nd consult, then when I finally decided on size, shape etc. I began to feel more excited and positive, rather than just worrying, will i like them? will they look too big? too small? will i get an infection? will people notice / think i'm stupid if they find out? etc etc etc!!
now i'm just looking forward to being able to choose clothes more easily and feeling proud of myself again and not ashamed of my little excuses for breasts!
Good luck with your consult, let us know how it goes

Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
thanks everyone. We went shopping today to get me some protective clothing so i can go on the back of husbands scooter (got a powerful one) and i bought a jacket the next size up, so i would be able to fit new boobies in with comfort!!
Funny the things you have to consider when going for a ba.

Hi, last time i went for a consultation i was offered up to 460cc. i think i will probably opt for 410cc. i'm curently 32c/34c (depends on make of bra) and i would love to be 32/34 DD or E. Would prefer to be an E cup.

Thats great news hun, its great to have you back and sounding happy with your decision x
Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
You know what, I sort of did the same thing as you. I didnt get as far as booking it but I really wanted one then got scared and tried to forget about it, told myself it wasnt worth all the potential problems. But it was always still on my mind and then I realised that it was on my mind because despite the risks its something I want, so Im going for it too. Let us know when you book maby you'll be a July girl then you can join us in our little section!
Good Luck x

God luck hunni, you've obviously given it a lot of thought and it cant help to go and see your pc for some more info.
As everyone else on here said, for me its the best thing i ever done, i had contemplated it for years and all though there were times when i couldnt decide the thought never went away, it was always there and it probs always would have been if i never got it done. Good luck hunni, keep us posted on how you get on, xxxx

Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
thanks for all your support, i'm going to phone tomorrow, so will let you know how i get on. Hopefully i will be able to see the pc this week and then arrange to see Dr Lutz again. I'm happy to go with her, as i felt really reassured last time i went to see her. I want to see her again, as i was very undecided about the size of implant, so it would be good to go and try a few sizes on again.
I only have one week left to take as holiday this year, but i have a desk job and its less than 2 miles drive to work, so i hope i will be up to it.
Will update you tomorrow.

Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
aww, good for you LJK. I was the same, had doubts and then cancelled my op. Then, after I'd done that, I finally realised how much I really DID want it done  after all. Had my BA two weeks ago and am totally thrilled with the results - should have done it years ago!
Good luck with it all!

Re: i'm going to go through with it!!
Well done you I can echo what the other ladies have said to ....the best thing I ever did for me
I had a consultation around 25years ago, and put others before my needs.... and felt soo inadequate for all that time  I think you have a gut feeling of what is right for you... if I could turn back time I would ?? but hey all that dithering was worth it in the end for me...I just feel complete now They feel like they have always been there.

That's how i really want to feel. I've often looked at nice tops in shops, but thought shame i haven't got anything to put in it ie boobies. I want to feel more in proportion,- i have large hips/thighs and my top half is so small.
I feel quite calm about my decision this time. Last time when i decided to go through with it i was constantly worrying about this and that, but this time i feel it is right for me and i don't feel scared.
