After surgery bra's (for partially unders) Empty After surgery bra''s (for partially unders)

Hey girls,

I was just wondering about the post op bra's Shifty

Lot of girls are talking about buying sports bra's to wear after the surgery, and I'm jealous!!
I got this post surgery bra from the clinic which has a velcro strap in front that goes on top of the boobs.. I asked the clinic if I can change into normal sports bra as these are very unconfortable (hard and not sitting right) but they told me "no, it is very important to keep the velcro strap very tight all the time" - Why is this?? I haven't heard any of you talking about tight strap over your boobs!?

I have washed the bra according the instructions and apparently it still shrunk as now the band is on top of the stitches which is causing even more discomfort.

What I'm really curious about is why is the velcro strap so important? Have you had it? What is the purpose of it? Shifty

Is this like a compression strap? Separate from the bra? Some girls are given these to help the implants get into position quicker, to help them drop and settle.

If they've said it's best to wear it I'm afraid it looks like you're going to have to put up with the discomfort for just alittle while longer, then I'd invest in a high impact shock absorber if you can.

HI, I bought one of these bras with the compression belt and was told by the surgeon to wear it for about 4 weeks. Like Roxy said it just keeps a constant pressure above the implants so that they dont ride up and they drop down to their correct position.

It'll stretch out once you wear it as they always seem to shrink a bit in the wash xx

I agree with others, best to do as advised, better for boobs long term. It will be worth the discomfort. xx

I had partial unders 2 weeks ago and was given a compression strap to wear for 2 weeks over my sports bra. They said it didn't have to be tight though, just firm. It was really uncomfortable, so I found a different post surgery bra with strap online

I found this one so much more comfortable!
