What would you do differently?
If you stepped into a time machine and jumped into your pre-boobie past, what would you do differently? This may at the very least give the pre-BA girlies an idea of what not to do.
I'd research clinics more... I only really looked into Transform and I wonder if I was swayed into believing their aftercare was the best by their clever wording.
I would also have thought about size a little more, I had my Mum with me in my first consultation and I wish I didn't. She never said a word about her opinion but I do wonder if that held me back a little. I never even asked what the biggest I could go would be and so I'll never know now. I chose moderate sized implants and wanted moderate sized breasts, I do wonder if I had more time whether I'd have chosen differently or been more sure about my decision.
So what would you change if you had your time again?x

Re: What would you do differently?
I'd research! then I'd research some more and then some more again!
I'd fill my head with as much information as I could take in so I could understand exactly what the surgeon was suggesting for me and could question with the knowledge I'd gained anything I had concerns about.
I'd choose a BAAPs registered surgeon and I'd research their name everywhere I could! I'd seek reviews, pictures and ensure the surgeon and myself had a good rep or, someone I felt I could approach with no fear.
I'd study the after-care policy, so I would aware of what would be covered and what wouldn't.
I wouldn't rush, I'd take my time to check everything off my list, then I'd give myself some time to digest the information, ensuring I was happy with the surgery plan made and if I was concerned at all, I'd go back again and again and again until I felt satisfied I was 100% clear about my surgery plan and comfortable with the choices made.
In hind sight, I should have had an uplift when I approached my first surgeon, but instead, he simply filled my sagging breasts (damaged from breast feeding) with over inflated implants that made me look ridiculous!, I was never given the option of an uplift at all, I was never given the option of implant, it was never discussed with me which profile I'd have and I was NEVER asked if I understood and was happy with the surgery plan.
My last 2 surgeons have been a blessing I have to say, but with with needing re-ops, my choices were limited as to which surgeon I could use. If I had my time over, Yes, I'd do almost everything differently xx

Re: What would you do differently?
I would have gone to a few more clinics, I'd have gone for wider implants, I'd have probably chosen a BAAPS registered surgeon, I'd have, I'd have a better aftercare policy.

Re: What would you do differently?
They are wide enough, it's just I have a bigger gap than I'd like, it's the same as I had before my BA just wish I could make it a cm smaller. It's not much I know, but I think I'd get a better cleavage with it slightly smaller.

Re: What would you do differently?
I'm not saying anything original here as I would also have researched more, had more consultations with more than one surgeon, asked more questions, pushed for a bigger implant... And I would have had my BA years ago if I'd have known how easy it was!

Same here sunshine, I would have done it 10 years sooner and I would have took a bit more "before" pictures for my before and after album collection.

Re: What would you do differently?
I think I would have spoken more about how they would look on me a bit more, and the different profiles. I chose high because I thought I would fit best in my chest but I think I may have been happier with a larger mod implant... And I actually never went in with pictures...
In very happy with the results however and I think he is a great surgeon I just wish I knew a few more things and was dead set on the look I wanted. As for size I'm quite happy :) you always want bigger boobies but I have just wore a padded bra for the first time since my op and they look huge lmao!!! Xxx

Re: What would you do differently?
For me id have done more research into clinics & p.s's.
Id also would have trusted what research I had already done into placement & would have stood my ground more on the " my p.s only does overs" as I didnt know all the info I do now 3 years down the line there is no way id going into a clinc again & have a b.a done from a p.s with that opinion!
I new back then that you cant say what placement someone is having before they have even looked at your boobs but ws not confident enought to really question it, something I would definatley do now.
You live & you learn
xx

The first surgeon I saw did exactly this, if it hadn't been for BJSF I wouldn't have known differ. In the end I think I was probably better for overs, but atleast I found a surgeon who examined me first and gave me a good reason for them x

Re: What would you do differently?
I would have done it 10 years sooner....and I would have maybe gone for 450s, but honestly, now I'll just upgrade to 450/475 after i have kiddies and then it'll seem more natural to be getting bigger
most girls say they'd have gone bigger, but I think sometimes it may make more sense to go bigger in stages...depends on your personality. I was trying not to advertise that I'd done it (to family and co-workers) so smaller was probably better for me. Next op - LOOK OUT

I'm one of the ladies who wished she'd gone smaller, so I totally agree with this, its far easier to go larger through having another BA, but if like me you get it wrong and want to go smaller, it requires the additional scarring of an uplift to achieve this. xx
Re: What would you do differently?
I wish I was smaller xx
I would also have done loads more research and chosen my PS more wisely xx

I also agree with this Alexandra! While I do get boobie greed from time to time atleast I have the choice of dressing them up, rather than not having a choice to conceal them if I went too big initially.x

Re: What would you do differently?
YES I see girls with bigger boobies and I'm jealous, but with the advent of the wonder bra and wonder bra bathing suit tops (LOL) I can make them look really big, but still hide them from my mum and my boss

Re: What would you do differently?
It took me over a couple of years between doing my research and getting my op, so I had plenty of time for research and no regrets in that department
I would have taken pics before having children. It sounds stupid, but I loved the way they looked, I exposed them enough so you'd think I'd have good pics and lots of them, but I don't I guess I took for granted that they'd always look fabulous, but that wasn't the case after all. It would be nice to look at pics of them instead of trying to recreate in my head what they looked like
