My new big boobies!!
I had my op on Wednesday at the Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital with Mr Tanner. I had Allergan Natrelle Inspira Soft Touch 415cc overs and I'm wearing a 32FF sports bra!! (I was a small 32D pre-op). They are massive and like two Boeing 747's sticking out of my chest! Ha ha!! But considering I'm still at the Frankenboob stage, they look ok. I just can't wait for them to settle and drop in to a nice shape.
All went well and the nurses at the hospital were so caring, attentive and professional. I stayed for 2 nights & didn't want for anything. If I wanted tea and toast in the middle of the night, the nurses got it for me. I had a nice room, with a beautiful view of the countryside and bunnys hopping past my window.
The only downside so far is that I have been quite wobbly and poorly from the anaesthetic I feel sick and heachachey all the time. The strong pain killers make me feel worse, so I'm just taking paracetamol. But tbh, I don't really need anything stronger because the pain is ok now. Mainly just a little discomfort more than anything else.
The worst part of it all I have to say was the drains. I had them in for 2 days & they were so uncomfortable/painful/irritating. Then when the nurse finally removed them yesterday, it was the single most painful experience of my life!! I'm not gonna hold back girls, that bit was unbelievable! So if anyone tells you otherwise, then they're either made of iron or just lying!! lol. But now that the drains are out, I feel much better. Just still woozy from the anaesthetic. But over all a very happt girl :-)

Re: My new big boobies!!
Thanks girls!! I just can't believe how much it hurt when my drains came out. The nurse was very gentle, but it literally felt like I was being wripped open :-( But as soon as I got over that, the pain was loads better. Just hope the side effects of the anaesthetic wear off soon xxx

I didn't have drains so cant offer my experience of them but it sounds like the nurse just wasn't gentle enough. You're through it now so rest up Hun

Re: My new big boobies!!
Congratulations
I understand what you're saying. I hated having my drains removed too, it wasn't pleasant at all, and freaked me out a little, I couldn't bear the pulling Plus I didn't react well to the morphine and spent the whole day after my op vomiting despite having been given a couple of doses of anti sickness meds
You got your new boobies now, so enjoy your healing xxx

Re: My new big boobies!!
:congrats and hope your healing goes well. I was terrified about the drains coming out but I didn't feel them thank goodness. I think it must be something to do with blood clotting around them or tight stitches... Who knows. Sorry to hear it was so uncomfortable xx
