Impatience kicking in
Ok, so I had my boobs done two and a half months ago, I know, still early days, especially since I had a mastopexy as well. They look great if I may say so myself , and are settling nicely. My left side is nice and round at the bottom, the right side looks it from most angles, but from certain angles it still look straight instead. I can feel the difference more than I can see it. My left feels all round, and I can barely feel the implant, I have to make a real effort to even feel it. My right one the other hand, I can still easily feel the implant above my crease incision without any effort, especially on a particular spot when I'm leaning more forward, and above that there lacks the lower pole roundness feel of a real boob that I have on my left.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about, and notice this at some point? Will I always feel it more, or should it settle more until they feel the same? The irony is this is my bigger side with more lower pole before op, so you'd think it would be the other way around. The only thing I can think is that it was also my slightly saggier side, so perhaps more invasive lifting may have been involved, hence the longer dropping time? It also still feels more sore in the area that I'm referring to than it does on the same area on my other boob, so it's not as healed I suppose?

I think it's just that one breast is taking its time to even out from the other Roxanne. Its hard being patient I know, but you'll get there in your bodys own good time.
If you're still having concerns by the time you see your surgeon again babe, do mention this to him, he may advise massage if he felt necessary to help encourage the breast to drop and settle into position. xx

I think you already know what I'm going to say... It's a case of being patient Roxanne. Incredibly frustrating I totally agree!
As for the differences, you do need to remind yourself that while you had them both done at the same time it is still two separate operations. In addition to this, you are still quite early PO and generally they can keep settling for 6 months to a year. They will do their thing, one quicker than the other but I'm sure they will catch up eventually.
Be sure you mention it to your surgeon at your next PO appointment though, but until then don't worry too much... They do look great and will get there in the end!x

Re: Impatience kicking in
I did mention it to him a couple of weeks ago. He didn't seem concerned, was well please with the results, and took my after photos. He told me that I don't have to go back to see him for six months since it's going so well. However, if I have any problems or concerns I can see him earlier. I guess it's a case of waiting it out. I think I'm in that awckward stage where I'm settling but not settled yet xxx

That's a good sign from your surgeon, hopefully your lazy boob will catch up soon!
If only we could wake up from the op with perfectly settled boobs!x

Re: Impatience kicking in
I also had a lazy boob and it took months to catch up to the other one. So I totally understand your frustration, but they do settle nicely.
Re: Impatience kicking in
I understand your frustration too as I'm still suffering from lazy boob. Its so difficult being patient! I've told myself I must wait until I hit 6 months before I call my PS. Sounds like Mr Withey is quite happy with them so I'm sure they'll even out x
