Concert 4 days post-op
I have tickets for the red hot chilli peppers concert at the stadium of light in sunderland, on the Sunday of next week which is 4 days after my op. Do you think I could still go?
Ive had the tickets for months and really do want to go. They are standing tickets though so obviously I'd have to try and stand somewhere near the sides or the back so I wont get pushed or anything. Otherwise I'm gonna have to sell them :( I have a feeling what you're all going to say anyway boohoo! xx

Hi hun, oh babe I would nt risk it if I were you. One push or shove and you could do a lot of damage. You have had a long road getting to where you are now , do you think you should risk it hun. You will be able to see the band another time I am sure. Dont mean to sound like your mum but that is my advise xx

Re: Concert 4 days post-op
Honestly.... I'd sell your tickets sweetpea
Theres a small chance you might feel well enough to go, but theres no certainty hun and it would be a waste for you to keep the ticket if you could get some kind of reimbursement back.
Also, in the standing areas, no matter how much you try to protect yourself, chances are, you'll take a knock to your new boobs and sweetie.... that's gonna HURT!
You'll also be shattered at 4 days post-op too and probably wouldn't enjoy the whole experience anyway.
Sorry hunni, not what you wanted to hear I'm sure, but I think you already know it makes sense. xxxx

Re: Concert 4 days post-op
I think 4 days post op you'll be appreciating your PJs and being snuggled with your boyfriend watching films and having an early night! I still felt dizzy and weak a few days after my BA, went out for dinner and had to rush off because needed to sit down, any longer faffing about and I'd have been a heap on the floor!
You'll feel very protective of your new boobies, so a concert isn't going to be your ideal situation.
You've been through way too much to risk it all now X

Re: Concert 4 days post-op
I thought so :( if I'd had the op last month I would've been going! Boo hoo
It's the first chance I've ever had to see them and they won't be back here again that's for sure, and I've never been to the stadium before cause I hate football and the previous bands lol. Here's just hoping I'll get a good amount for the tickets since I am completely broke!!
xx

Re: Concert 4 days post-op
Lol you girls are so funny!
Aw sweets it is disappointing but as the girls have said you probably wouldn't feel up to it anyway. I got really paranoid of people getting close to me cos they felt like they were gonna pop as the skin was so tight, so a gig would have made me have a panic attack!
You'd never forgive yourself if something happened and you really need to look after yourself sweetie, the first week is crucial, but at least next time you do get to see them you'll have amazing wabs x

Re: Concert 4 days post-op
Hi hun, I know you have probably already decided not to go but just wanted to say that I am now 4 days post op and even though I feel a hell of a lot better I wouldn't dare go to a concert in case someone squished me or just in case anything went wrong e.g infection or anything. I have only just started to walk straight as before I was like an old granny stooping over holding my boobs haha.
It's a shame you might not be able to go but I am sure they will do another concert hun and you can go and show your boobaloobas off! woohoooo xx

That made me laugh soooo much, you just sounded so casual... "or I could open your incisions"...

Always going to be sacrifices, even when your loan is paid off and you're putting money away into a boobie fund for your future boobs! But I assure you its certainly going to be worth all of the stress, time and money for you Good luck selling your ticket! x
