Just heard that anatomicals under dont fluff ? Empty Just heard that anatomicals under dont fluff ?

Post by Meemoo 12th June 2012, 3:04 pm

Hi Girls,

I'm 2 weeks post op and would have like to be a little bigger (410cc) but that's what my PS was happiest with on the day so I accept his expertise on the matter.

However, I'm very much looking forward to them dropping and fluffing but have read a lot on google that anatomicals (teardrops) unders DO NOT fluff in the same way as rounds would because they are firmer?

Please tell me this is not true - really want them to look fuller Just heard that anatomicals under dont fluff ? 204135 will they?

Thanks for any replies x x

As it's the tissue around the implant that is affected rather than the implant itself, any type of implant can fluff, not everyones does but everyone has the potential to fluff. They will go through many changes hun try not to worry.

Hi ladies,
I'm slightly confused. I've heard a lot about fluffing, but what exactly is it? I've just had round unders & can't wait for them to drop, is dropping the same as fluffing? Sorry for being dense, I'm just confused!

There is a brilliant diagram cookie found which shows it perfectly but it won't let me link on my phone at the moment. Basically dropping is where the implant stops looking so high up and rounded and you develop a more natural slope and crease. Fluffing is when the skin and tissue (and muscle for unders) relaxes and let's the implant take its shape and the breast softens. This can result in an increase in size depending how much your skin and tissue contracted due to the surgery.

I'm sure there's plenty of hope for you getting a visit from the fluffing fairy meemoo. I also think its quite natural to criticise the size of them so early PO, I'm definitely guilty of this. You do have a lot of changes to go through (as do I) so don't read too much into it... As they settle they will start to take on a better shape and I'm sure you'll be happy with the final result whether they don't fluff very much or fluff to being super-boobs! Flash X

Thanks lovely ladies,

I knew about the fluffing and why that happens but then heard lots of things about the teardorp being firmer so that it never fluffs - ooooh and I'm so looking forward to fluffing, so was a little sad if that were to be true.

Anyhow, I am sure I will love them one day - and they are a million times better than they were before so happy days (just didn;t expect this much pain and the constant backache - no pain no gain tho!!)

Thanks x x x
