Capsular Contractor 3 weeks after operation?
I'm on this forum for a few weeks now and I've been getting familiar with the topics. I found it very interesting and helpful. I didn't have really time to say hello to everyone though. Sorry about it.
I had BA about 3 weeks ago. I was 32A and had 410cc.
I think I might have cc, I'm not sure though. I had my op about 3 weeks ago and I 've noticed that my left boob is smaller and harder than the other one which is soft. For the first 10 days after the surgery I had a pain (like contractions) only in my left boob, the right one was fine. I've started to massage them a few days ago and I've noticed that the implant in my right (the bigger) boob moves nicely in every direction, it goes up and down which ever way I want it to go but the smaller and harder one does not. When I try to push them up by using my hands the right one goes a lot higher up then the left one. It feels like there is a barrier or somerhing that does not allowed the implant to go through.
What does it mean? Is it normal?
Thank u!

Hiya Kamilla!
I think this is completely normal, your boobs will be healing at different rates so you might have one that's healing nicely, and one stubborn one! At 7 months post op I'm still noticing one is yet to settle.
The contraction sensation you are describing is probably just the nerves starting to knit back together.
If you are concerned though hun then give your clinic a call to put your mind at ease, that's what they're there for - to look after you pre and post op, but I really think what you're experincing is completely normal.
Even though it was one operation, it's two different incisions, pockets etc so they're bound to heal differently.
Anyway hope you feel better lovey x

Hi hun . Its very early days since your b a and having read many stories on the great forum you will find a lot of ladies had the same thing as you but it was not c c just the implants healing at different rates. some girls have taken weeks and even months for them to feel the same so it could be that. I had c c and had a re do 7 weeks ago which I was having to have done anyway coz I had pips . I dont think you get contractions as such with c c its called cc because a capsule of scar tissue forms around the implant . The best thing you can do is ring your p s and ask for advise. And did your p s say it was ok to massage this early ? I am sure Cookie will be along to give you some great advise, mine is only from my personal experience. XX

Re: Capsular Contractor 3 weeks after operation?
Welcome to BJSF Kamila, nice to see you've decided to post finally... I did the same, sat back and read for a while after I joined as it can be quite daunting being new here but I assure you we don't bite
I really would put the idea of CC out of your mind for the time being, right now you are very early post op and have so many changes to go through you really don't need to worry yourself!
While you had both breasts done at the same time they are still considered two separate operations so you will notice them healing at different rates throughout recovery, but they will even out eventually.
As you heal you will also experience some very odd sensations such as pins and needles, electric shocks etc. During the operation your nerves will have experienced quite a bit of trauma, the odd sensations you're feeling will more than likely be your nerves healing.
Try not to focus too much on size, shape or softness for the time being. If you're still concerned when you go to see the nurse/surgeon for your 6 week check up be sure to voice your concerns but for now it all sounds absolutely normal. You can always ring the clinic though for piece of mind, you paid for their aftercare so feel free to make use of it X

Re: Capsular Contractor 3 weeks after operation?
I agree with the other ladies, it's all very normal hun, and new implants can be quite firm for a good few weeks or even months. Your boobs can heal at different rates and go through the nicknamed "frankenboobie" stage where they can look quite odd, they tend to do their own thing for a while. Shooting pains are completely normall and can last quite a few months although they do lessen in intensity
Re: Capsular Contractor 3 weeks after operation?
Hi Kamcia I wouldn't worry too much about CC just yet as you are very early on in the process, I doubt CC would kick in until months not weeks. They do tend to be hard and I remember for a long time one of my boobies was smaller, this is because they are changing at a daily rate.
If you feel in a few months that something still isn't right then you should go to your ps but don't worry yourself too much at this stage, although it is easier said than done lol.

Welcome to BJSF Kamcia123
So glad you're feeling better babe, the women here are wonderful and having been through the same themselves, they know that 'time' is probably the most important part of your recovery lovely.
As has been said, the sensations you're having are very normal. I could actually feel my breast bunching up inside and my right breast was sat much higher and was firmer than my left, it was the strangest feeling. But it was all normal lovely. It took 10 weeks for mine to settle and I've known women boobs to take longer still, so you see babe, at just 3 weeks post-op you're incredibly early in your healing and really do need to give your new boobs 'time' to heal. xx
