My Pics!
Hi everyone,
I have finally put some photos up on picturetrail, I really didnt want to, as I hate them at the moment, but really need your opinions. If you have read my previous posts I have had problems with a double bubble (I think this is what it is) on my left boob. I am only seven weeks PO but dont think this is going to get any better. I am dreading seeing my surgeon (Who I have discovered since the BA, hasnt got a good reputation) because I know he will say theres nothing wrong. My concern at the moment is can I live with it rather than push for a re-op which could make it worse.
These least seven weeks have been hell for me as I also found some breast lumps recently which are being investigated with my local hospital, so with this as well :pale:
Anyway girls be kind but honest .... If any of you go into the account with a password could you let me know. x

Hi Sparky, I had a look at your pics and it does look like a double bubble. I think you should push your PS to get it fixed for you, you paid the money for it and he should correct it. What has he said lately? xx

Re: My Pics!
Due to see him again at the end of June, but when I saw him at six weeks, he basically said its a nice result!! Just feel im going to have a fight on my hands and I just dont know whether to fight or learn to accept it as it it. I know it sounds weak, but he just kept saying its early days and its very slight.

Re: My Pics!
Hi, I haven't seen your pics but I think if you are not happy and there is definitely signs of double bubble etc. then you are perfectly entitled to take it up with your surgeon. It's a lot of money and stress so make sure he really listens to what you have to say and takes your concerns seriously. Only you can decide whether you want to take it further and have a re-op but good luck whatever you decide and don't let him fob you off if you are not happy...

Re: My Pics!
Hi Sparky i can see what you mean more in the first two pictures and that its a little hire than the right boob, they still look nice and i could hardly see your scars which is good.I think if your not happy and want a re-op you should definitely expect your surgeon to correct it for you. Maybe you could get a second opinion before you go back then tell your surgeon what they thought? Hope it sorts itself out if not don't be afraid to complain. N xx

Re: My Pics!
I would be upset too its alot to go through just having the op then worrying if everything will be ok after, then to see something isnt quite rite must be very distressing for you, I know i am always worrying if something is wrong with mine even though touch wood they look fine so far. You must tell your surgeon your not happy he might suprise you and suggest a re-op if thats what you want. Do you know if its likely to happen again?? N x

Re: My Pics!
Hmmmm iv def seen worse, but on the other hand (im no surgeon) but it could be better.
Im in two minds tho, iv seen double bubble where the persons own breast sags over the implant, where as your is the fact you can see where your origional crease was, as it sits up on the implant. I would def discuss with him the fact you think the result could be even better. Im sure (dont quote me on this) that iv read somewhere, there are two things that be done 1, a bigger implant 2. they somehow release the bit of tissure on ur old crease cos its tighter???or does that make no sense haha . Hmmmm will be interesting to see what he would/may suggest x

Ok, it really depends on the person, but from photos you see on the web where people have had complications and something is not right I would not be happy.
I would accept that something might have gone wrong because there is a risk, but its the PS obligation to fix it and not brush you off, or at least advise you on what to do (massages etc). I would also get a second opinion from another surgeon. I feel for you because I think the PS is been a **naughty word** about it and its really not acceptable xx

Re: My Pics!
Hiya Sparky, i havent seen your pics but I agree with the others, if your not 100% happy with how they are then you are well within your right to ask your ps to sort it, especially if it is double bubble. If you are worried about his reputation and that he will just fob you off saying they are fine is there any way you could maybe go and see another ps (say from another company) as tho you were gonna have a re op and get a second opinion, that way you can go back and tell him that another surgeon has confirmed your worries??? Im really sorry your having problems and i hope you sort things out hun, xxxxx

Re: My Pics!
Although I've not seen your pics I would agree with everything the other girls have said. Its not easy to fight your corner but if something isn't right and its the surgeons mistake you shouldn't have to live with it.
Heart goes out to you hun. Lots of love
