Binder for 7 days post op!! Empty Binder for 7 days post op!!

Post by lilmonkeys 10th May 2012, 9:58 am

Morning all

I emailed my pcc yesterday for advice on sizes for bras post op. She replied saying that i wouldnt be wearing one straight after my op, that id be wearing a binder for 7 days till i see the nurse, then the nurse would determine when to start wearing a support bra.

Now, im ok with this as i know that every clinic/surgeon has their own way of doing things. But i am a bit worried about not feeling 'supported' straight after op without a sports/post surgery bra.

Has anyone one else had the binder, was it ok?

Thanks in advance xx

You;ll be extremely supported babe. The binders are quite tight, many women find them uncomfortable and restricted during the time they're wearing them, but if your surgeon thinks it's necessary for you to achieve the best results for you, then it's all worth it isn't hun.

Don't worry, you'll be just fine. xx
