Recovery clothing! What to wear...
Afternoon all!
I've been looking around for anything with buttons or zips to wear post op. I want a couple of tops that are comfy and that i'll be able to wear again in future, I can't find anything that doesn't look either tight/uncomfortable, or Even worse, something my nanna would wear!
Can anyone recommend anything that'll keep me comfy but won't make me look like about 90 years old?
Xx

Re: Recovery clothing! What to wear...
I didn't wear any button up tops, found lose fitting tshirts, hoods, cardigans, vest tops etc were all fine.
Jeans on the other hand, I know I have a bit of junk in the trunk but I didn't realise just how many muscles it takes to pull a pair up So maybe consider leggings!x

Ive been thinking the same regarding tops but havent got around to looking for anything, so cant offer much there im afraid, sorry x
Fantastic advice about the leggings altw! I bet most of us pre ba ladies are worrying what to wear up top and have not even thought about getting jeans up. Leggings now added to the list of things to buy!!

Re: Recovery clothing! What to wear...
theres some OK but basic zippy up jumpers in tope shop chick thats what i basically lived in jackwills and superdry are good too because you can always ware them again at the gym and look cool ahaha..
but ye as alice said , it defiently take effort to pull up a pair of jeans ahaa so id get well stocked up on a few comfy leggings chick.
but as far as tshirts vests r good at lounging around in. even afterwards too xxx

I bought a couple of 'Nightshirts' from Primark, great as they'd buttons so no lifting arms! Also lived in zip up hoodies for 1st week or so. Basically just comfy stuff!!x

Hi, I was told most definately not to lift my arms over my head as it can damage stitches so I wore my boys zip up sweatshirts for a few weeks. Not glamorous but I didnt care . Plenty of time to be glam when boobs heal . x Ps leggins too, no jeans, too hard to pull up in first week. x

Re: Recovery clothing! What to wear...
Hi Sunshine lady, I bought a few of these tops and found them very practical because you can wear them from your feet and pull them up. They go very well with leggings too.

As for the trousers, I found harem jeans/trousers very comfortable because they are wide fitting
