Please help!!
I'm 7 months post op and until this week everything had been perfectly fine - however... I have a really dull ache in my left breast. Almost like period pain and it's getting more intense by the day. I have unders so I thought originally it might be the muscle rather than the breast but now I know it's actually my boob :(
I'm really worried! Can anybody help or relate to my symptoms? Could it be an infection maybe?
Thanks sweeties x

Re: Please help!!
Is it possible that you've been over doing things babes? maybe lifting something heavy?
It does sound like you've just pulled a muscle in your breast hun, you could have even stretched it in your sleep babe.
Try popping a good supportive sports bra back on for a few days and see how things go, if the pain doesn't settle ny then then give your clinic a call and arrange to have yourself checked out sweetheart, but I doubt it's anything serious. Mine ache all the time when I do too much, your body sure has a good way of telling us we need to look after ourselves a little better! xx

Thank you Cookie for your reassurance. I tried to get in my clinic today just incase but they were unable to fit me in. I made the mistake of googling and it was suggested that I could have an infection?! But it makes me feel better knowing that you too get aches and pains so I probably have nothing to worry about.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply Cookie Xx

Re: Please help!!
Thats OK Pussycat I very much doubt at 7 months post-op you'd have an infection sweetness. This page HERE gives you a time frame of when infection can occur and how babe. xx
Re: Please help!!
This might be a silly response, but I have noticed before my period my boobs get really achy and tender and wi be really tender and slightly uncomfortable for about a week or two,
this has only started happening the past couple of months, before the ba it was normal for me to have sore boobs but for the first 4 months so the achyness went.
Not sure if I have explained that very well, I'm at work so just quickly responding. Xxxx

Re: Please help!!
Ive always suffered swollen tender boobs around my period sc, I still do now, my boobs look HUGE when I'm hormonal!
I wouldn't worry about it sc, it's just hormonal, sometimes after surgery everything can get a little jiggled about, including your hormones, many women find they have a period right after surgery or that they miss a period, so maybe it's taken a while for your hormones to settle down again after your op and now you've got your achey, tender boobs back hun as everything gets back to normal. xx

Thanks ladies!
I am actually a few days pre-men but I've never ever had sore boobs before! Maybe cos I had none! But I was just worried as it's only sore in my left side. Thinking about it now I have been going bra less the last few days so maybe I just need a bit of support.
Thanks girls for your help! :)

Re: Please help!!
I suffer terribly with pre-menstrual boobie ache!! but what i found really helpful is taking evening primrose oil tablets, now they dont hurt at all before my period, so maybe you could try some of those and see if that works first xxx

Re: Please help!!
I thought that's what would be happening with the little puppies, so was wondering if this is possibly what could be happening with pussycat.
First time it did freak me out a bit as it had been a while since I had achy per men boobs.
I've heard evening primrose oil is also supposed to be good if you suffer with bad period pains, however I haven't tried it. Maybe I should as I have terrible monthly pains.
