PIP implants petition
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Hey girls.
I've started this petition to bring to HMG attention that they're using a substandard implant.
All those that want to, please sign this so we can forward it onto the execs at HMG. I realise some girls have PIPs and are fine and happy with them thanks to their research, but this is for the women who were given these implants without the choice of knowing about their rupture rates.
Thanks

PIP implants are a cheap implant, much in the same was CUI's are Allergans 'budget' range, which isn't a problem as long as the patient is aware. The thing that's really awful is that PIP implants have a weak elastamer shell which has above average rupture rates. As the silicone isn't highly cohesive the gel seeps out of the rupture, and has caused problems with the lymphatic system.
Which is why I've created the petition.

what implants do transform use?

Re: PIP implants petition
I believe that Transform's standard implant is the Allergan CUI. I think you can "upgrade" to the Allergan Inspira range at extra cost with Transform (I know you can with MYA).andie231 wrote:what implants do transform use?

Re: PIP implants petition
I have PIP implants and havent had any problems with them. Might sound a bit dim but how do you know if your implant has ruptured?

Re: PIP implants petition
i coptied and pasted this off so femine it makes me feel sick to think they risk using them when the company who does pip implants went bust that means them implants are not got aftercare and you would have to pay for new implants if they ruputered with the first few years
