I know you say thats what you're there for, but you really do go beyond that..... and genuinely care about us girls!

I really hope they call me back today as Im getting more emotional by the minute. I will keep you updated xx

Relax hun, try to stay calm you will want to be thinking straight when you speak to them. If the wait is proving to much a gentle shove by ringing them and asking where your phone call is, might make you feel more in control and show them you can't be fobbed off. You can even insist they speak to you now as you are very upset. I'd say the nice approach might work but with sales people only interested in commission, I very much doubt you will come top of their call back list. They aren't gonna want an angry woman threatening to turn up at their office demanding to know what's gone on and possibly lose potential customers are they.

Update: seeing surgeon a week tomorrow. Very scared as don't know what he'll say to me.
I know I need a re-op so hoping I'm offered one! Plus something for all the stress, time off work I'll need etc etc xx

Spot on hun, you go in there with a clear head & maybe take someone with you for support......& make sure they dont try & talk their way out of it!

I don't think that's unreasonable at all. These people make a lot of money off us ladies and if they mess it up, they should exercise some common courtesy & pick up the cost of the mistake (not to mention what it says in their policies). After all, it's not only got financial implications, but like you say, having to take unpaid time off work & the general fuss & stress of arranging transport etc, along with the stress of possibly having to go through a further op.
I don't know if I'm right here, but it seems some companies operate via negotiation when things go wrong, but there should be no need to have to fight for anything when they've made a mistake. They should cough up for ALL expenses incurred in light of THEIR mistake.
